I do love all of the spiritual books he gave to Gary, and thought it was so sad that Gary broke down and cried when he gave up the car Elvis gave to him. Glad some Elvis fans got it, but that just shows you how tender hearted Gary was…❤️ Gary Pepper forever 🌶🫑🌶🫑🌶

Another TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEO ASHLEY! I have Cerebral palsy also and Gary's story and friendship with Elvis really touched me! I also read that Gary's family couldn't afford a wheelchair for him so Elvis bought him one. Elvis was such a giving and compassionate person. Now they are together for eternity. The books were definitely my favorite! So personal. I saw an interview where Lisa Marie said her favorite thing at Graceland is her Dads many books because she enjoys seeing what he underlined and writes on the pages! Gary seemed like a really nice man, he must have been devastated when Elvis died. Thanks for so many cool videos!

I love the motorcycle hat and the Florsheim shoes. He wore those in the early days, right? He was incredibly generous but I love that he knew that these items weren't going to people so they could sell them, but they were going to people who would cherish or appreciate having them. Great video as always Ashley. The quotes he put in parentheses speaks volumes (pun intended lol) on why he was so giving. "We do our work (because it is part of our being) but it now comes to us by grace". He always showed his gratitude for his God given gift all throughout his life, but his ability to take Gary into his circle was extraordinary. A simple pair of shoes, signed, to Elvis was nothing, but to Gary... Gold. What a extraordinary human being our boy Elvis was!! I love the Impala... wonder where it is now? Loved this... you rock.

I’m so happy you understand Gary in this way, and how unique his experience was. Someone recently told me when Elvis greeted fans at the gate and Gary was there, he greeted with Gary first and privately and fans knew to give them space. Thank you for your support!

Elvis is the gift that keeps giving, because just when you think you have seen and learned all about Elvis-more stuff pops up! I love it! I knew Elvis gave Gary a lot of stuff, personal stuff too, but never knew exactly everything. I did know he did not buy him a house and I loved the interview with Nancy that you did Ashley. Love when we hear things straight from the horses mouth so to speak. Favorite gift, the books and clothing stuff because the books had Elvis' handwriting in it and the clothing because they touched his body. lol Great investigating Ashley!!!

i think i remember gary in pictures , its amazing when you think you seen all the elvis stuff and more keeps coming like you said about all these gifts and this story is new to me , i love the impala , ive owned 3 of them myself a 1970 , and a couple of 1978's impalas , thanks again for finding the stereo pic from the raquet ball building , the crown stereo was a 1973 model i looked it up and it was a tube type amp , tubes still to this day have the best sound , his crown stereo i figure was probably atleast 600 rms watts of output power , enough power to probably hear it from the street lol , i have a 1973 pioneer sx1010 at 440 rms and it loud enough to shake my walls , i knew elvis always liked good quality sound , as he said about the early rca studio was not very good and early recordings ,and he was happy that the equipment was getting better in the early 70's and late 60's , even the beatles early 60's concerts where drownded out by the screaming fans they did not have sufficient amps and the old vox speakers barley where loud enough

GAAAARRYYYYYYY!!!! This was so cool. So many great gifts and items, and Elvis loved to give, but Gary was clearly appreciative in ways that most fans probably wouldn't have been. And I feel as though the shoes and hat may have been given on the spur of the moment. Because Elvis was like that, but because he knew Gary and that he would cherish them. My favourite -- the trousers from Flaming Star, my favourite of Elvis’s films. Thank you, Ashley. 👍🙏💯

Just watched your video from website of Linda Hood Sigmon Truth Elvis is Alive. Her only post for the 1st week of Sept. 2021, other than she sent it to Elvis/Jesse today, Thurs 9/3/2021 so he'll get to watch it too. Love comparing these gift's etc, with the one's sent to Linda and her husband, Tom. A world of fun and knowledge. I read on Linda's site she had a bit of distaste about the Spa Guy too 🙄 🤷♀️.... Elvis had a good friend in Gary.I think maybe Elvis gave some of these things to Gary because he knew that if Gary ever needed anything he could sell them and make some money.Just my opinion

Yes! I make the video private as soon as it ends. You won’t find any old trivia videos because it actually hurts my channel overall. I try to minimize it by removing it when it’s over. Hope that makes sense

Elvis gifts to Gary should have been returned to Graceland and elvis Presley enterprises It is not right that Gary’s family members did not receive the proceeds from the sale

I used to hold that opinion too until I spoke to Gary’s family member and then his nurse. The case went to court and it sided with his nurse because she was there. She didn’t get paid to take care of Gary - they were two fans that found each other and based their lives around Elvis. Yes she did! She was in the Spa Guy and Globetrotting with Trey during Elvis week! You can still watch on Utube, they did a video everyday and it was great for us that couldn't go!
