Agreed. I knew I missed her and how empty and different it feels without her on there every Saturday, but I didn’t realize just how much of a void there is without her. I was hoping they brought back Cecily Strong and Aidy Bryant for at least one or two sketches with her though. The ABBA sketch with her, Maya, Kristen, and Bowen was hilarious. One of my favorite things is watching them break character and Kristen lost it almost immediately, taking Kate down with her 😂

You just want to give a little😂 something that you 🤞🏻 hope they like. If they hate it it might destroy you. You will dwindle into a state of wine and self pitty and thinking oh punishment ideas for yourself bc you're so horrible who didn't deserve your life anyway. It was all just an act. Look up Mad TV Inadequate Christmas Presents. It’s essentially this but 15 yrs older and much more daring with the scenario which pushes the joke making it really funny. This is the most sanitized remake of that sketch I could have imagined, the only thing that makes this relatively amusing are some of Kate McKinnon’s ad libs but again, Stephanie Weir played this same character 15 yrs ago and REALLY committed to the perfectionist mother who shouldn’t buy gifts. This was alright but weak sauce compared to the Mad TV OG.
