Man I love dr who! I love the big finish audio adventures! Peter Davidson is absolutely fantastic in them! In the big finish I find the stories darker and better! The 7th doctor is quite manipulative and at times I’m thinking can he be trusted! The 8th dr is great! The 6th is less bossy and moody in the big finish and is also quite caring to his companions! But I do agree! The 5th I do think is one of the easiest and caring doctors to be travelling with! My favourite is the 2nd doctor! And modern day is Peter Capaldi followed closely by Matt smith. Plus had the pleasure to go to comic con and meet 4th, 5th 6th 7th and 8th doctors in real life, along with companions and other dr who actors!

Hi Craig, Firstly thank you for all your help as always. My question is how do you go about planning out an hour long act/show? Do you start with a list of magic effects first? Or start with the theme/overall story? Any guides, advice or resources you would recommend would be much much appreciated.

My second question is what is the difference between Focus and Heroes and Villains (apart from the obvious, movies, and heroes)

Thanks Craig for all your advice on gig fatigue and streamlining sets! My question this week is around your chop routine. after some weeks of practice i "birthed" chop into my act at my residency. However i am finding the reactions a little flat , i know its a strong routine and ive been reflecting on why and i think i have 3 theories a) im talking too fast and the audience cant follow the action b) the eyeline on the table is all down and not all can see the ball when it arrives under cup c) bill in lemon ending is killer but not always the that practical and ive seen your additional video with other ideas so may try this. I have stopped doing it as im just confident with how its landing and i need a bit of a confidence boost! Any tips ? Im thinking fewer phases or a different kicker ending. Im also curious to see how it lands strolling and in the hands.

Hi Craig, I know this is a beginner question, but when you do a close-up job and you are table hopping, do you go back to your case every time? I am currently just doing the same 5 tricks and rotating.

1. When doing Double Xmas Revelation from Christmas Cards, what do you do if one person thinks of a short title film like elf and the other person thinks of a long title film like nightmare before Christmas. Because they will see you writing for a lot longer or a lot shorter than the title of the film is? 2. Do you think using the themes of influence and empowerment would work in the same routine, or do you think the two wouldn't together as they may not make sense together? 3. Do you know of any tricks like a matching couple routine but using two decks and two participants shuffle and they both shuffle the decks into the same order? I received Cheater Chips and Heroes and Villains last week, and I'm really enjoying both projects. Just a quick question for if/when people ask me: You have Rumpelstiltskin paired with Missy in the H&V deck. I have scoured the internet (which means I went to Wikipedia) and I haven't been able to find a reference for Missy being the miller's daughter's name. What is your source for the name, Missy, or do you just cover the mis-naming by saying "most people don't know this?" Sincerely interested, as the tale is around 4000 years old and has been told by many cultures. Perhaps an interesting note, Miss Piggy portrayed the miller's daughter in the Muppet Classic Theater adaptation of the tale. That's the closest to Missy I've been able to find. LOL

I'm planing some gigs abroad and want to bring some electronic props on the airplane. I will have to bring the chargable props in my carry luggage. Do you know if that could be a problem? Think props like Ryan might use (Blaze candle, X light etc). It's small chargable batteries but built in in strange props. Thank you for everything you do. I've learned a lot thanks to you!

I saw Craig performing QD2 at Wayne Goodmans convention last month. It goes by a different name but It will be worth the wait - a jaw droppingly good trick. Trick of the year 2025 is a done-deal in my opinion (unless it comes out just before the end of 2024!

I have an idea for a trick where I do a crash link then I genuinely teach the audience how it it works I show there is a hole in the side of the ring but then like in silk to egg I end by peeling the hole of to be a sticker then linking it again. This would by by switching the normal rings for gir or a locking mechanism. Do you think this is a good idea or is it unfair on other magicians as it would mean I’m exposing the normal linking rings method on stage
