You can use one mic receiver and just jump from one speaker to the other with xlr cable. Mic 🎤 into speaker A and go output from speaker A Into ch 1 input to speaker B

You are absolutely correct. Initially I was not sure if our going to place my speakers in different positions in the room and eventually settled on putting both of them on a single yoke. Since they were already set up with mic receivers I just left em like that. Thanks for watching and good success to you DJ PhilI MP.

Awesome work on the video Gerald! I love seeing examples of people just using EVERSE speakers for things beyond just wedding ceremonies. These things CRANK and with 2 of them you can really go pretty far. I just snagged my 2nd EVERSE 8 (and also just found out about the newly released 12 version, but I'm happy with just the 8's for their power and small size/weight). I can't wait to pair them up together for use at home where I switch off between using them with a Yamaha mixer and an edrum kit for monitoring/practice/recording, but also for guitar playing and singing. I'm curious did you encounter any headroom limits with 2 of those in that large room? It doesn't seem like it from the sound during the event.
@gfire_productions
@gfire_productions 6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and leaving good comments. I didn't have any head room issues in that room and actually could've turned them up more. It was plenty for the amount of people in there and the size of the room. A buddy of mine he rocked an all out party with the bowls S1 pro plus speakers with a single B2 sub and crushed it. It's all a matter of applications and you seem to have some really good ones being a musician. Now I am mainly a QSC user and in most instances I am in a place where we have power. My motivation for the Everse 8s was for ceremonies because it's a quick versital set up in a quick strike when it's all over. If I was seriously considering as a back up power solution for large parties I would get the Everse 12s I'm good until I have the need for them. I would certainly highly recommend those for musicians on the go and especially if you perform an audience where there's no power available like street performers.

Hello! One question from me! Sorry to bother you) Do you sometimes have the Everse 8 display blinking when the battery is turned off and in charging mode from an electrical outlet? Chaotically, without a specific time interval. It can dim for a long time, then it can flash for a few seconds and so on for the entire time until it is fully charged to the state of full 100% charge and turns off. Or does the display always glow dimly when charging the battery without such flashing? And is there any real, personally verified data on how long it takes to charge from 0 to 100%? My Everse 8 was charged in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

You're welcome Idranis and thanks for watching. I have used these two speakers at wedding ceremonies, in a gym for a speaking engagement with a light dinner music, and other settings similar to those. For an all out party for 150 guest however, I would upgrade to a pair of Everse 12 speakers: amzn.to/43tx6xx . If you are a musician or DJ, thing about the amount of noise the audience makes when out on the dance floor having a good time vs sitting and eating dinner.

@gfire_productions

Hey Jonathan. Your suggestion is a very feasible and doable option. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to separate my speakers. Sometimes I put them in different places across the room so having two mic's would allow me to do that. I think in the future this particular set up, I may use the mix out of one speaker into a channel on the other speaker. I'll test it out and let you guys know how that works out.

@@gfire_productions There is one more thing i found out. When you send the Mic Signal via the mix out channel with an XLR cable, it also sends the bluetooth Signal!!! This is crap because it doubles the true stereo Signal so that you have a louder and doubled up mp3 Input on one side of the boxes. That annoyes me maximum. I decided to buy a XLR-Split cable to put the mic signal direct from my wireless-receiver in the Ch1 of each box. This doesnt send the Bluetooth signal. How do you deal with that problem?

Hello 👋.How many people you can handle with this setting? Outside and inside. Thanks in advance for your answer.
@gfire_productions
@gfire_productions 6 ай бұрын
That really depends. Let's start with outside, at a wedding ceremony with 250 people in attendance(guests) are mostly quiet and the only one speaking is the officiant and maybe the bride and groom when they say their vows. In that setting we could handle up to 500 people probably. No we were having a family gathering I party at a park I think rocking for 150 people with these two speakers would be just fine. Indoors in a room like in the video 75 and below might be OK for a small party. In that setting the audience I guess would be a lot more lively and talkative plus laughing so they're ambient noise would be in competition with the speakers. I try not to look at it as how many people but how am I going to employ the speakers because I could put up a set line array speakers for 50 people but that would be impractical. I mainly use the speakers at wedding ceremonies or as a remote cocktail speaker. Other considerations would be speaking engagements, a boat party, backyard party, pool party but nothing really big. Well you have to contend with a lot of Ambien or audience noise. Does this help?

Thanks for watching Jason. You are correct that one speaker and a mic would've been enough for this particular party however there was no way I could know how many people we're going to show up for this event. I was looking for an opportunity to test out a concept I was thinking about with these speakers so this pop up event gave me the chance to do exactly that. You are 100% correct that I was doing fancy stuff for fun but I also learned that if I had to separate my speakers to cover a wider area, I could do that wirelessly and talk through both speakers. You can only Bluetooth link music or snannel 3/4 to both speakers. I am also aware of the option to use the mix out of the XLR from one speaker and hard cable into a channel of the other speaker. By exploring these different options gives me more flexibility in different event scenarios. Thanks for your support brother and good success to you.
