That's not a third hinge in the middle, it's the ribbon cable for the display, exposed.

What are long term prospects of Gigabyte laptops in general? I'm looking to purchase the Aero 17 and I've never had a Gigabyte laptop. There are not many reviews on Gigabyte in general, so if i'm making a $4k purchase, is this something that I can use for the next few years? or will it break down?

I've had a gigabyte laptop for a year and a half that I use daily for work. Seems to be holding up fine. Might need a CPU thermal paste application but that is normal for any laptop.

i bought this 2tb for 1299$. I have some trouble with this laptop at the beginning but i fix it. It is super laggy and sluggish to use. So I install win 10, most of the problems go away. I have to change the graphic setting in nvidia to use only gpu not the intel xrs. If i dont the laptop is very laggy with 100% usage iris xrs

@@ИванКеренский-б9й worth every penny (screen, specs and light weight) keep in mind you need a 6 fan cooling pad not a huge single fan
