Oh my gosh, I loved the little prince! I read it in high school for French class and it was one of the few books I had to read for school that I absolutely loved reading 🙈

You got some great books! Bright Young Women has been on my list! The thirteenth tale is one of my all time favorite books and I hope you love it! I've been having great luck at my Goodwill lately too.

Oooh I really want to read Husbands!! Can’t wait to hear what you think! I’ve heard that The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry is very emotional! This is a great book haul! Oooh I have Bright Young Woman and want to read it if you want to buddy read! YAY THE EXPANSE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!! I love the floppiness of the book too, hehe! I just got the first book in the Neapolitan Series! Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires is one of my FAVORITES!!!!!

What a great haul! Next time do a live, I could hang out here all night while you show us all of your books (it's 8.30pm for me) 😄 What did you study in Paris? I still haven't been, apart from the airport. One day! I think I've only read The Measure out of these, but really enjoyed that! And several other ones I'm interested in. I've seen the Elena Ferrante ones in second hand shops as well and every time I'm like should I..... and then I force myself not to, I have to read the first one first. Your way is more fun! I have to read Homegoing this year though, I've decided. I don't think I want to do it as a book club read, but maybe a buddy read if you're up for that? No rush though, but maybe like November or something... good time for a pickmeup... I'm gonna have to watch the video again, I feel like I missed a bunch of books writing in the chat! XD

I think Melinda @awebofstories talked about the Thirteenth Tale as a great book. It might have been that one that she said is weird but just keep going... might have been another one, but... might have been that one ^^ I'm so jealous of all the books that you can find secondhand in English speaking countries! I've found some good ones as well, but the selection is just so limited. As for what you should start with, go with the ones that spark joy! I'm also curious what you would think of the Fury, but I'm not sure it's good so I don't want to ask you to read one that might not be great... but you bought it so 😂 I guess that one!

So glad you enjoyed watching this though, it’s fun to do the premiere and have people jump on then so thank you for doing that!! ❤️ I did an intensive French language study program in Paris. And now I’ve basically forgotten everything because I never speak French, haha. I hope you can go, it’s an amazing city! Can’t wait to read The Measure!! And November sounds like as good a time as any for a buddy read of Homegoing, I’d totally be down! 😊 And good to know about The Thirteenth Tale (potentially 😂)! Yeah we have it good here in Asheville and America in general, it does seem like the selection is quite limited in non-English speaking countries! And good advice, haha I am curious about The Fury but also hesitant… I’m sure I’ll get to it soon enough though!
