Really sorry I missed this important episode live. A heartfelt thank you to Bryan for so many years of being HCC788 and for all he brought to our community. It's a bittersweet moment, for sure, seeing one of the pinnacles of the Joe community ride off into the sunset, but it is good that he's doing what he needs to do as a person. Wishing you all the best, Hoodie! Paul, I'm glad I'm not alone in immediately hearing "Lola" every time Grunt's wife is mentioned. Haha! That's not Croc Master -- it's his cousin Rock Master! Andrew Koji is the best part of live action G.I. Joe... sadly, he's not (currently) on board with doing more Joe movies. Pre-yellowed Storm Shadow was the one movie Classified figure I picked up, solely for the Andrew Koji head, for some unplanned future customization. As a non-gamer, Wrath of Cobra was fun. The scientist in CC4 definitely reminded me of Professor Mulaney from Sunbow. I'm not a fan of Cobra-la, but their intro in issue 1 was thought provoking and I was curious to see how they'd be used in this new universe. Unfortunately, this issue gives me the impression that we won't be seeing them again for a while. If so, it seems like a missed opportunity to me. Seeing the pieces come together in both Duke and CC has been great, and I'm looking forward to the next two mini series, especially Destro. Burg!

It's a real shame about HCC. He had said that he started his channel as a way to help his mental health, and it seemed to work for many years. In the later years though, it seemed to have the opposite effect, negatively impacting his mental health, becoming more of a burden, than the comfort it had started out as.

To have his kind of work rate quickly turns a hobby into a job. And not one that’s paying you fairly for your time as a trade-off. Over time that would wear any of us down. But judging by his social media accounts, he’s set his priorities in order and is enjoying his time with his partner. So there’s a happy end to the tale and I don’t think that’s a real shame at all!
