Just be real Westbrook is the missing piece. They don’t have the drive throughout the game when he’s not there. Harden can orchestrate because he’s offensively dynamic but he’s not gritty enough to keep the team on edge the whole game. He has lulls when he’s not on the ball and the other players kinda space out around him while PG and Kawhi do their thing. Russell’s tempo keeps everybody flying and active and it makes them harder to guard overall. It translates to the defense as well cuz stops lead to the scores in transition.

The reason why they’re struggling is bc PG and Harden has been inconsistent. If Kawhi doesn’t play good they lose. Kawhi plays good they win. I know Kawhi hasn’t been perfect this season but he’s the reason why they are where they are now. But when he doesn’t perform good the others don’t pick up the slack at all. (Pg & harden) hence the reason why they haven’t been winning. I get it tho Russ is a huge part of what they do but they have enough to still get wins.
