@jlui21 I agree 100% with your overall point that some players would be better and some worse in other era's, but they'd all still likely be fairly dominant. I'd adjust your statement by saying that Shaq is the type of player that makes the NBA adjust to HIM. Nobody in this current NBA would slow Shaq at all. These stick figures like Wemby, etc would get tossed aside like a stick house in a hurricane. Teams would start drafting more thick bigs to defend Shaq. Otherwise, he'd average 38 on 70%. Steph is actually one current player I think would be worse. He's small and unathletic. Relies heavily on illegal moving screens and a handle that would be called for traveling in the 90's. He'd still be good, but not MVP caliber imo.

Case in point many of the guys that look slow & awkward (via today's lens) in the 50's & 60's were actually multi-sport circus freaks athletically that guys today couldn't hold a torch to. Secondly, don't confuse being both allowed & encourage to jack-up 3's as being more developed or skilled. @@myluvgobangbang that's 1 game, we are talking about 2001 Kobe, who averaged 23ppg on 45% field goal against guys nowhere near as good as iggy/klay.

That “psh man. Aye bring me this ball”. I was on the receiving end of one of these in HS. I was 6’5” and an average player. I was going against a D1 caliber player. First play. He said that. 😂😂. I said “oh god. Here we go.” Proceeded to get demolished.

Anyone can talk about defensive scheme, but Draymond is basically a SF in Shaq's era. Shaq is big, quick, fast, and very physical. Every bump to the chest, it's like being hit with a haymaker. And im not even talking about the elbows when Shaq spins.
@doomzday7775 ай бұрын
draymond won't even be playing on those eras. people giving him so much credit. he just piggybacked on curry's shooting.

I like everything Sheed and Bonzi said except when he said 36 year old AC Green can hold Klay. Klay gonna hit 10+ threes if that happened

In the 3 years Shaq/Kobe won a championship, Kobe played 14 games in the Finals against the Pacers, 76'ers, and Nets. He shot 42% from the field and averaged 22 points and 5 assists. For his career in the Finals, he shot 41% from the field and 31% from 3. I'd say several people from Golden state could have guarded him and they'd have been just fine.
