I'll always remember that night when i bought this album, the first one i bought of him, i was with my neighbour and another friend, and late on the night i decided to open it and listen to it...it started with that song, i had smoked a lot of pot and suddenly all those sounds started to go through my body, i was really petrified, and since that day Gil Scott Heron walks with me everywhere i go...! "Winter in America" is by far his best album, every soul music lover should own it. RIP Gil
