Gilas JB plays like a cross between MJ and LBJ. A REAL 🐐 You love to see it when Carl plays well. Alot of our guys are really old 🤣, it's great to see guys who'll be part of the program for a looong time perform this early.

Super dedicated kayo sa PH basketball! 3 episodes within 24 hrs. I wasn’t able to watch PH vs. Georgia live dahil sa puyat hahaha. Kudos pala sa Pilipinas Live - you can watch the PH games vs. Latvia and Georgia without a subscription. In fairness, slight improvement yun. Hope they’ll do the same sa iba pang PH games.

What I learned from FIBA is if you are committing too many turnovers, you put in a situation where you can lose a game so hopefully I work on nila yan, these turnovers really contributed to the slow start. Now may 1 day na sila to rest and prepare for the semis. Hopefully they maximize it. Great Job Gilas, Onto the semis 🇵🇭🔥 But that last possession is the smartest thing they've done, they know they're in the semis so they waste the clock and Goga with a Ogag move trying to force OT in the end 😅

Yung insertion ni Tamayo at 4 is sooo crucial kase nakasabay sa speed ng close-outs unlike nung Kai-JMF frontline. Also, the good ol' zone defense is ingrained na talaga sa PH basketball, no need to practice na kala mo nauunlock na lang sa utak whenever needed 🤣

Kudos to the bench kanina cj, oftana, japeth and king maroon carl. Carl na lumabas kanina parang yung sa gilas tab. I hope in semis pati si kq magpakita na to help the team we knowwhat kq can do. Kung maglaro yung first five ng tulad sa latvia and yung bench natin katulad kanina ithink kaya nila ang semis to finals.

About the goga shot. FIBA rule is if you tap above the rim, it will count. But if below the rim , and you intentionally shoot it, that will result to a technical and it will not count ( douhit reference). If you notice after he missed his tip in, may oras pa pero di na sila nagtry.

Shengelia did not play vs Latvia, to think na it is okay for them to lose against Latvia, Philippines will lose anyway for sure to Latvia, then they can move to the next round. And Shengelia seems to be the insurance against this game against Ph, but everyone was surprised that did not even only fight toe to toe against Latvia but defeated them, maybe if Shengelia played the first game, odds maybe different.

I think he meant no choice in the sense that there was no more option but him and that he had to step up given that he was thrust into that role for the day. Sam was very adamant during the episode about the future of Gilas and how the youth stepped up (tamayo,ramos, etc). -Maui

Wow I completely forgot about Malonzo! Onga pala wala rin siya. I think the good thing that came out of their injuries was that the younger guys (ie.
