That was the day I became a fan of the show! We had just got the show in Toronto. Gilbert had been on one of our local stations and hated him. Was on the fence about the show until that day! Drove truck at the time and was stuck in traffic. Took about 3 hours before my ribs where no longer sore from laughing!!!

Coming on a show and hanging out is TOTALLY different. And the time he was in the hospital and Howard visited him and got him clothes or something, was probably 30yrs ago. He hasn't been on the show in 11 years before he passed. But, NO OTHER SHOWS gave Gilbert the unlimited appearances like Howard did. But instead worry about if he was best friends with a dude that was as socially awkward as Howard himself.

This was one of the greatest (& fucked-up) feuds on the Stern Show; Gilbert Gottfried vs. Amy Heckerling's German Holocaust-surviving babysitter. This argument along with the others clearly show that Gilbert has no moral compass. Unfortunately, this woman did indeed commit suicide a couple of years later - which is tragic. Clearly, this poor woman had her own demons - but on a lighter note, she had great comebacks and knew how to attack Gilbert.
