Rex Heuermann, the Manhattan architect charged with three of the Gilgo Beach murders, left a chilling voicemail to a woman that she says creeps her out even today. Interior designer Dominique Vidal says she was in a networking group with Heuermann. She says he actually discussed the murders with her. Vidal says Heuermann left her a bizarre voicemail after she quit the group because she did not want to be around him. Heuermann has pleaded not guilty. Inside Edition's Les Trent has more.

It must feel very surreal. I remember watching a documentary about this case, years ago, and it stuck with me. I'm really glad they have caught this man. I hope the other murders will also be solved one day. I can't imagine living so near to a mystery like that. I hope his arrest brings some measure of relief to the families and the affected communities.

That’s a very unsettling voicemail; it’s smarmy, fake, overly familiar, and sounds like he’s hitting on her/trying to get her to date him. It indicates he was paying close attention to her membership in this professional group, and he literally chases her after she left the group. As for all these people who can’t hear what’s wrong with it, I think their compass is broken, and I wonder what other bad behavior they’re ignoring. 👀

I wish it was that simple hun but sadly it's not..😞😑 these people won't ever seek help, they don't want to get help because they don't think they have a problem. They literally have no moral compass and most likely no soul either and if so it's an evil one💯💯💯💯... Please study psychopathy 🤦😬 it's kind of important in 2023....😳😳😨😨

Looking at the list of women he murdered. She does fit right in with the type of women he was targeting. So glad she didn’t stick around him, after getting those creepy vibes. So many women try to please and not come off as rude. You don’t owe anyone the benefit of the doubt. Men as well.

It's a wee bit trying to hard to look " folksy" .Her Spidey senses triggered because she left due to him bothering her. We were not filled in to his behavior at the group. Then a serial killer that you knew had called you personally? That would rattle, any sane person, with a pulse. How would you react?

Its crazy the roommate witnessed the murderer pick up one of his victims that was last seen with him and gave the exact description of him and his vehicle to the police right after the bodies were found! Further more, this monster had the nerve and confidence to keep the vehicle this whole time! I can not believe the news had the nerve to show a witnesses home and address of a frickin serial killer! I am outraged for him! (No, he didn't witness him kill her, but he watched him in his car pick her up in their driveway and her drive away with him. She was last seen with him, before she was found dead!) And the police did nothing after a witness told them all that information! Shame on them! It should have NEVER taken this long to catch him! No telling how many victims he's killed since then, that could be alive today! This trial is going to be intense and terrifying! I am sending loads of prayers to give the victims families the strength they need to get through trial and finally get the justice for their loved one's that they very much deserve! 🙏💔

At first I thought this was great police work. But that profiler proves that once again, we give police way too much in taxes. And to do what? Write speeding tickets? Bust drug users? Meanwhile their “task force” accomplished almost nothing and ignored glaring evidence for 13 long years while a serial killer ran wild.
