The societal hate for adult sex workers is outrageous and worse than the hate for these traffickers trafficking children and teenagers. Look at our media pushing male toxicity and female whoredom. Sex should be a choice between 2 adults regardless if money is involved. Unemployment has always been a problem for women/minorities. I was trafficked as a teen from my parents and later found out I was autistic and that’s why I could never get hired. I’m not a sex worker but I understand how hard it is out here for some of us women! And lots of women are homeless and being r@ped, kidnapped, trafficked and m-rdered.

So don’t legalize it & hold the tax evaders just as accountable as the tricks; Police don’t respect domestic violence victims & they can’t prevent murders when legalized, so anyone who really cares about safety won’t legalize or encourage routes that involve taking untaxed money from men as opposed to working for money. Right and wrong alongside ethics and accountability do exist.

@@annestovgaard681 maybe to get men to stop buying, we should deconstruct the toxic gender roles men face. A good example would be if women would not financially objectify men and take advantage of the hypersexual brainwashing men go through since the day they are born. Unfortunately that starts with women taking responsibility for their own actions, which you have demonstrated is often quite difficult for women. Maybe one day instead of blaming men you can open your eyes to how it is a larger system that everyone participates in and builds. And maybe you will not blame men for reenacting their gendered trauma/brainwashing. Sure hope you dont tell drug users to "just stop doing drugs" while being willfully ignorant about the predatory drug dealers.

only 43% of them are sex workers? i’d have thought it were even more. i mean it’s an easy opportunity and also they’re targets for people who have deep seated issues with women and especially sex.
@richvandervecken3954

The reasons most serial killers target sex workers is the same today as it was when Jack the Ripper did it. A woman who routinely leaves with men they do not know will not get noticed leaving with another man they do not know. Even the people who care about them will not report their absence right away because they usually have a history of disappearing for several days at a time. A woman who works in a normal job has contact with people on a daily bases that would notice if she doesn't show up for work one day. A woman who works from home usually maintains contact with others on a daily bases via phones and video conference calls and they would also be noticed if they go missing. Simply put sex workers are targeted because they are the least likely to be missed when they go missing. They will always be targeted for this reason. Society can greatly reduce this by legalizing it and publishing that sex workers have a mandatory daily check in with a supervisor.

@@b2bgood870I believe Jesus would have supported legalizing prostitution. He loved all sinners alike, the adulterers and the prostitutes included. Doesn’t mean he would have encouraged it but like alcohol and prohibition, criminalizing something like that will not stop it but it will make women who do it more vulnerable as long as it’s illegal for the reasons the original poster mentioned. I don’t think Jesus wanted us to die for our sins. Otherwise, his death for our sins would be pointless. I don’t think it was pointless though. Also, like alcohol, we can educate our children on why not to partake in that work as Jesus did with the adulterer and the prostitute, but it doesn’t have to be illegal and doing those things doesn’t have to be that dangerous. I’m convinced if someone doesn’t want to protect a certain type of woman for whatever reason, they don’t support protecting any women because you can’t protect women as a whole without protecting all types of women. I’m sure you might support a law protecting all women EXCEPT workers. How does that make you look if you don’t want to protect all women? Who knows? Another possibility could be you are one of these depraved individuals who feeds on workers and that’s why you don’t want it legalized? I can’t know that. It just seems it COULD be that way.

Taxes? Concerned that taxes will be collected to protect sex workers from getting killed? That's the priority? Money can be recovered, lives can't! They are women somebody's child, the baby somebody once held in their arms. If these men have daughters, nieces or granddaughters, would they put the lives of their loved ones at risk for the sake of money? I don't think so. Then why would they put someone else through something they would not? Yes they're doing something wrong and many have turned their lives around. These women were never given the chance. Shame on you for putting a man on who has so little regard for human lives. Saving tax money before saving lives. They were right, money is the root of all evil.

That's why sex work needs to be legalized, so women who ingage in this profession who are often vulnerable in the first place. Plus, if legalized somewhat health risks will be controlled, which will lessen the strain on the state health system and law enforcement and save money which a little could go to help these women find a way out of their current lifestyle instead of being not able to break the cycle due to the stigma,approach and law which psychologically prevents victims from seeking help with the options they have which sadly have been failing for decade's.

Sex work is already legal in more states than it isn't. These whvres just dont want the regulations that come with being part of a legal brothel. Staying on the streets means their income isnt taxed, they dont have to worry about protecting their johns from STDs, and they dont have to worry about staying clean off of drugs. These whvres have options but choose the easiest way because they are lazy, degenerate, and drug addicted.

The guest is arguing against legalization of sex work because the government will get involved and there will be taxes and things, so the black market will thrive against this... Is that right, though? He says something like this has happened with marijuana legalization, but is that even really true? Would people actually rather go to the black market when there is a legal alternative? I'm pretty sure moonshine runners and speak-easy bars have pretty much disappeared since prohibition of alcohol sales was repealed, haven't they?

Iis possible that he didn't only target sex workers but any one whoever gotta in his way male or female and he targeted not only sex workers but any vulnerable available woman who put their selves in that particular circumstances as rex heuermann has committed crimes of opportunity by which I would have to base that off his early killings that dates back my opinion to the mid to late 80's and into the 90"s to where he could be a possible suspect in another unsolved cold case dating back 32 years ago and that is the brutal murder of new York Chinese woman su ya Kim June 29,1991, su ya who was killed by nine stab wounds and body coldly dumped in a dumpster in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn! A witness a black security guard seen a white man with glasses at the same dumpster that would later determine to be the body of su ya Kim acting very suspicious the witness gave a brief description as to how the man looked by which the police created a witness composite drawing of the killer by which the drawing fits a high school yearbook photo of rex heuermann as the class of 1981 which was only nine years prior to the su ya murder by which the police drawing of her killer fits a 1990 wedding photo of rex heuermann almost perfectly to the brim so it's my opinion is that he mostly targeted sex workers prior to his later kills in the gilgo killings in the 2000 period but in the late 20th century in the late 80's to the early 90's era doing his early killings he targeted any one at. Random he committed crimes of opportunity could have changed the way he dumped his victims doing his later killings in the 2000's after waiting years to start killing again after nearly getting caught dumping su ya Kim body in that dumpster by that black security guard that could explain the reason as when he started killing women again he picked particular targets he started targeting mostly sex workers who considered throw aways in society as he nearly got caught in the su ya Kim case so he started targeting sex workers years later as my opinion...
