I kind of feel bad for the new Community fans who discovered the show on streaming rather than watching it live. Witnessing the drama of the show unfold with the cancellation near misses, the actual cancellation and revival, the release then return of Harmon, the Chevy feuds, the interplay with social media and the Harmontown podcast which led to the truly hilarious meta moments like the parody of the shipping videos, or Donald wearing the Spiderman pajamas (then having that spawn Miles Morales), or the “classic Annie” dress in the finale and countless other moments. Experiencing that during the run was such a crazy ride that they missed out on. I’m thrilled to have them of course, the more Community fans the better - but watching that show live was very different experience from that of binging it all on streaming. It is an experience that in retrospect I feel lucky to have had. #AndAMovie
