Eric!! It’s always such a pleasure when you return to what brought me to this channel in the first place, Gillie and Dave!! I do love all your other content of course. Please do the Carter style picking master class lesson you were kind of hinting at. It would be greatly appreciated! Have a great weekend and you are right these lyrics and thoughts and emotions are absolute brilliance.

I somehow missed this when you posted it last week, but wow... I don't know anyone who gets Dave and Gillian the way you do. This is my favorite track from The Harrow & the Harvest and I'm glad you made it your own. So beautiful and plaintive, in Dave's hands and yours. And I'm happy you chose the Goya! Thank you!

I think you're onto something here! Rick Beato has his "What Makes This Song Great" series and I think it's a brilliant idea. Market research: what would you want to see Eric talk about? @johnandre5558 3 жыл бұрын
Rick Beato’s series is great and I am a big fan of it. But he really covers the entire lexicon of rock/pop music. I feel you have a great affinity towards the genius found in seemingly “simple” music. Part of me wants to describe it as indie rock but that’s a over simplification. It’s like Tom Waits, how do you label that? I guess what would be fun for me is to hear you talk about music you like, why you like it, and what’s draws you to want to interpret it through your lens.
@EricHaugenGuitar
