So I’ve always thought Jess was Rory’s Luke and Logan was her Christopher (comparing her relationships to Lorelei’s). But this last time I binge watched the whole series, including AYITL, I now believe the one that got away, and her best match was in fact, Logan. Took me umpteen times watching the series all the way through to see it. She was afraid she would be giving up her lifelong career dream when she said no to his marriage proposal. She didn’t want to break up, just not get married yet. We see their continued genuine feelings in AYITL. Logan would drop his fiancé in an instant if Rory would commit to him permanently and I think Rory thinks she missed her chance and waited too long and it wouldn’t be fair to Odette. Clearly Logan is her baby’s father so there are plenty of amazing stories to be told between these two. Who needs Milo V. to commit to more GG shows. I’m good without Jess!! Amy Sherman-Palladino, give us a new RORY and LOGAN Gilmore Girls series!! We’ll eat it up!! Please consider!!!!

Some of what you’re saying makes a lot of sense Zsuz. I don’t really like Logan as much as you do but I would prefer him over Jess. Jess was awful to Rory when they dated. I like the man he has become but that doesn’t make up for him running away to California and trying to pressure her to sleep with him at a party. I wish that Rory could be happy with Logan and their kid. It has to be theirs. Amy has said in countless interviews that Logan is Christopher and Jess is Luke. Rory wouldn’t have been drinking all that champagne with Logan and the Life And Death Brigade if she was pregnant with the Wookiee’s child. Amy even said that maybe Rory wouldn’t keep the baby. So many things just don’t make sense that Amy has said. The Rory of the revival and the Logan of the revival really seem like they’re still in love with each other and respect each other. Why can’t Rorys story end a little bit more different than her mothers and why can’t Logan be like her grandpa Richard? So many people say that they want once more revival but I don’t want that. I’d prefer to write my own ending. I would like Rory to have a boy and name him Richard. She doesn’t have to end up with Logan or Jess. She could find someone even better or be a successful working single mom. Why not?

@@cmrwrite There are indeed several different ways she could go, no question, and going out on her own would certainly be one of them. Jess really did treat Rory badly. Luke never treated Lorelai like that. Logan has grown on me over the years, he has matured but with more growing to do that I’d love to see in a new series. His love for Rory is genuine, deep, and if Rory feels the same way, which she appears to, I’m never for people who truly love each other not being together. Mainly, I want Amy to move ahead with more GG regardless of Milo getting on board or not. I’ve heard positive comments from all the rest of the cast about being interested in doing more GG except for him. There’s more than enough story left to support more GG without him

@@zsuzsu6524 Yeah but wouldn’t it be awful if they recast him? I don’t blame him for not wanting to come back but I hope that he does if they do. That whole scene at Chilton with Tristan was stupid and completely pointless. Amy and Dan surely didn’t go back and watch any of the series at all and just consulted the actors and writers before making decisions. Tristan went to military school in North Carolina didn’t he? I know he was supposed to be Romeo in their play and he said he was moving to North Carolina. I know that the show One Tree Hill was filmed in Wilmington NC.
