Exactly 😂😂😂and all the things lorelai said in that letter Is something that he never was to his own daughter But Luke was Chris was such a waste

I agree, but Christopher was 16 years old, and i dont know. He wasn't used to having any real responsibilities. He was more responsible with Gigi. Also, how much did Loralei let Christopher spend time with Rory.

@@Hi-jw7oq He was hardly responsible with Gigi. He left the parenting to Sherri, while he was away, until she left and he then got his mom and nannies to do the raising

@@Hi-jw7oq he was not 16 forever! He had plenty of time to come back and meet his child, not wait until she was 16 and he was 32!!!!

@@Hi-jw7oq I'd agree he was _more_ responsible with Gigi, but I still wouldn't call him a great dad or even a decent one, really. He was quick to pawn her off on others any chance he got. And yeah, he WAS 16... but so was Lorelai. You step up when you have a kid, or don't expect to reap the rewards of being a parent, period. My problem with Chris has always been that he tried to have it both ways.

Not too mention she kept April's life a secret from Luke for the past 12-years. Let's not forgot she got all put out when Lorelei hosted April's 13th birthday party. Everyone had fun, everyone was safe, but she turned into a complete Karen Krazy when Lorelei visited her shop to try and explain things. Now that was F*ck3d up IMO.

It’s different with mothers, they don’t have to prove their maternal instincts, whereas men have to prove their ability to child rear. You can blame the patriarchy for that. 😂

Which is so ironic bc he pushed lorelai away to focus on his relationship with april and yet she ended up being the one who helped him to sway the judge's decision

I hated Anna, she was so selfish, she didn´t care about April feelings at all. Not only she wanted separated Luke from his daughter, but April from her father. What was she thinking ? That April is gonna be OK with not seeeing her dad ever again ? Horrible, horrible person

Right!! Luke lawyers sucked.. ( He lives above a dinner he works at) No he owns the building and the dinner , even in the early 2000s you had to be making a pretty good amount of money to own a entire building. His relationship with women? Isn't her mother single? How many would be daddies did april have to say goodbye to when it didn't work out Witcher mother?

Reminds me of my mother having a fight with a old family friend while they went on a trip in another state and rather then considering our family’s feelings she insisted that we do not see our childhood friend again who was the daughter of the old friend of my mom’s. I think it’s rather selfish from her part but you know what I am going to go make amends with my childhood friend and her mom on my terms. In this scene, April should have decided who she wanted to stay with, the ironic thing is my old friend faced a similar custody battle years ago and now she is 18

I found the lawyer pathetic..their talking points as to why he would've be a good father made no damn sense. He lives above a dinner? No he owns the building and the dinner( even in 2000s you had to be finically well off to own a entire buildings)... plus we know he renovated the buildings when he both it because he bought ot so Jess could have his own room( which means April would have her own room since Jess is gone by this point)

Chris had no right to be angry over that letter I mean he missed out on so much of Rory's life so no wonder Luke became a father figure for Rory and it's his own damn fault that he missed out on so much of Rory's life

But he was right about Lorelai being in denial. Luke was her endgame whether we wanted that or not. And Christopher knew he was in it for the ride and they could never truly be together and Rory and their childhood would be all that the two of them had left, no matter how much he loved her

Rory is an adult. Christopher waltzing back into her life once the task of raising a child is finished does not suddenly diminish the fact that she raised Rory alone

only because he was back in their lives for a few months at that point and threw with money around, doesn't make him a father. She was 16 when he came back! He is lucky she wanted to see him, I wouldn't have.

The moment the jugde read that letter that is the moment he realize what a mistake he made about keeping april a secret And that he still love lorelai As far as lorelai that letter was a love declaration for luke even if she was in denial And a wake Up call for chris and he was still a deadbeat dad to rory after all Showing up when other people aka lorelai and luke and her transparentes have done the raising rory up And his parents never made an effort Unlike the gilmore

Anna was responsible for Luke and Lorelai breaking up. I like April but I can’t stand her mom for her part in Luke and Lorelai’s relationship.

Anna was a terrible character she kept April from Luke for 13 years he had every right to know he had a daughter, and the way she kept talking down to him, I'm glad he stood up for himself
