I don’t think the reviewer did calibrate the rs2 correctly. It has stronger motor, and the settings must be down for mirrorless camera. Other reviewers have shown the rs2 is very good and better than rsc2. I don’t trust this test.
@costinvaly12 жыл бұрын
@@CC-gt3ro many other reviews also proved the opposite, so your point is?
@costinvaly12 жыл бұрын
@@CC-gt3ro this test is even more accurate since he used both of them simultaneously by rigging them together on a custom made holder which removes a lot of variables that would be present when shooting with each gimbal separately or in different arms. And you can only “assume” that he didn't calibrate the RS2 properly, because at the end of the day a guy like Peter with experience and great results under his portfolio is not expected to make a calibration mistake, especially since he made all the effort to build a custom holder for a fair test. Also microjitter isn't much related to a mediocre calibration unless you adjust motor strength to some ridiculous values, but even then the gimbal would scream then lock itself and ask for a better calibration. The microjitter we've seen here is not related to “a bad calibration”, maybe the RS2 is just better for heavier setups and worse (than RSC2) with lighter setups. I still own both so I don't care, but the RSc2 did look smoother in this test.

@@PeterLindgren1 If to be the case.. you cannot hold a gimbal by the tripod alone. A top heavy gimbal or a non fixed battery attachment would lend to the instability and added movement of the gimbal's overall structure. Now put two hands on it as it was designed to be used, then you will receive the same and best results that 99% of all of the other reviewers are finding. Of course there may be other user error factors that need to be investigated. Our best guess.

I have both, the Weebill S which I bought first (being cheap😂) and the RSC2, RSC2 makes the Weebill look/feel/perform like a toy. It’s just been my reliable trusty dust collector. Just haven’t had the time to put em on eBay yet
@patrickarinden68623 жыл бұрын
I just saw this but I completely agree. I thought the weebil S was a steal at first. Even invested in doing some research prior to placing my order. Sadly, that wasn’t enough. No matter how hard I tried when it came to: walking, firmware updates, different dual handle grips, calibration, etc, the weebil S just performed terribly. I could Ninja walk in a straight line and the footage would still come out wobbly. It actually deterred me from using gimbals for months. Now that some upcoming shoots are calling for a gimbal, I pulled the trigger on the RSC2 yesterday. And man what an absolute refresher. Once balanced (which only took 15 minutes after not touching a gimbal since December) I never had to stress over any wobbles. Footage is clean; maybe ad a TINY bit of post stabilization (if you so choose) but it’s safe to say that I wasn’t me this whole time (for the most part) Overall, No one should have to check whether their gimbal is working properly between each shot; it shouldn’t even be on your mind. Knowing the capability of the RSC2 really pumps me up to hop back up on a gimbal again. And I really appreciate DJI for delivering. Not even joking, I stood up until 2:30am just just trying different shots and it makes me so happy. The weebil S on the other hand, good riddance. Setup: RSC2, P4K, (cageless) Meike 16mm lens. Small vmount clamped to the handle; not a counterweight in sight.

that great rig you custom made (i love manual works), actually neutralize each stabilizer posible difference, whereas heavier the stabilizer, steadier the result, therefore, here is expected same stabilization on both, as they are attached. resulting differences are due to different calibrations. i believe the should be tested separatedly, as the way they are intended to use.
