I grew up here, so much has changed but still as beautiful as ever. Beautiful countryside, community, history and everything else you could name! Only a stone throw away from Whitby and so much more. 🤣🍻🇬🇧♥️ Lovely video. I miss it so much I think you are going to make me return sooner! 🔥 Thank you for doing it some justice. You should take that steam engine as you said, you will remember it forever. Also, rest in peace father Bill who passed away 3 years ago. A true angel who served in Pickering St Joseph’s Catholic church❤🙏💐

I moved to Pickering in Feb 2023 and i absolutely love it. The whole town has a close community feel and I've made very good friends with people in charity shops, the butchers, jewellers etc! 15 minutes drive up whitby road and you are in the most beautiful scenic landscapes in the moors and on your way to Goathland. I love it here ❤

I'm really enjoying North Yorkshire and Pickering is another great looking market town to walk around and to visit the awesome local stores, pubs restaurants and other various interesting places in this nice town in the North Yorkshires. this is a very beautiful place to explore and until your next exciting destination take care and Thank You.🥤🖖🇬🇧

Well Neil you have really shocked me today. I was convinced today was going to be Whitby as we just had Scarborough, though I suspect we may have one soon as you can't have North Yorkshire without a bit of Whitby thrown in

Though I live in the south of England I know Pickering well, as I used to stay there when volunteering on the MYMR. It is one of my favourite towns.
