Had this band existed in the 70's they would be legend. Had they come up in the 80's, they'd have been mentioned with U2 and REM. But because they came across in the 90's, they're dismissed as post grunge pop. Great lyrics and stunning melodies oughta get you some respect, imho.

It's 30 years later, and this song still affects me deeply when I hear it. I don't know that Robin ever wrote a more plaintive, honest lyric about where he was at (at the time). It's hard to be in a band and be in love with a girl.
