I was born in 1976 and at present I am 47 years old. This song came out when I was battling my teachers in junior high(😂😂😂😂) Grunge was the mainstream music and dominated the charts. I always have had love for Gin Blossoms because I found their music so relaxing. Personally, I considered them the best band between the angst and rage of Nirvana and the psychedelic grunge of Stone Temple Pilots. Gin Blossoms were our inspiration when I and my friends created our band. The 90's music was definitely the best that happened to this world. My heroes were all gone now and I remember them always in my heart. Andrew Wood-Mother love Bone Kurt Cobain-Nirvana Shannon Hoon-Blind Melon Chris Cornell-Soundgarden Scott Weiland-Stone Temple Pilots Layne Staley-Alice in Chains Doug Hopkins-Gin Blossoms Bradley James Nowell-Sublime Dolores O'Riordan-Cranberries Thank you for the music. Furthermore, Democrats in the 1990s were more conservative, were PRO-secure U.S. borders and Pro-immigration enforcement, unlike now! so nostalgic. i remember exactly where i was and what i was doing during these times.l growing up in small town..not much to do but listen to radio and talk about what we were going to be when we grew up. there were three of us and it's so interesting how life turned out. i wouldnt trade it for the world.

I want to tell if I am or am not myself It's hard to know how far or if at all could go Waiting far too long for something I forgot was wrong I don't know all the answers I think that I'll find Or have it within the time but it's all that I'll have in mind Until I fall away That won't keep us waiting long Until I fall away I don't know what to do anymore Until I fall away... My fear pretend that I'll never be in love again It's real to me but not like these fools and not like this scene I won't find or have it within the time If it's all rusted and fade in the spot where we fell Where I thought I'd left behind It's loose now but we could try Until I fall away I won't keep us waiting long Until I fall away I don't know what to do anymore Until I fall away... When there's no good answers To those new questions Another personal disaster There's nowhere to go but down...

Such a great song, love it as much now as I did then. Memories from the 90's, a very different place .....fun times then. Glad to see The Gin Blossoms are still touring and making music.

I was around in the 90s and so many of my friends are gone now. At least we got to live when the US was a great country to live in. I worry about the kids now since our government have been taken over by so many corrupt oligarchs who will stop at nothing. Some of us Gen Xs took the fight to the oligarchs using the legal system to stop it, but lost.

I'm sorry that you lost your dad. I'm a dad of a 27 yr. son and your post made my eyes well up. God bless.

@@Nowhere888 Unfortunately, you are right. I was born in the last year of the baby boom ('64) and greatly miss the country we used to be and used to stand for.

Every time I listen to this song I cry for what was. Life as I knew and loved it ended in the ‘90’s. At least I have memories and music like this to keep me going.

Sign me up for the one-way trip back to the 90's too. Just drop me off with the shirt on my back and I'll do just fine, thank you. Everything since around '96 or so has NOT been awesome. I'd give anything to wake-up and for it to be 1992 again, but forever this time. Two years before we lost our hero. I just want to ride the crest of that seattle sound-wave forever.

Hey @GinBlossomsOfficial, I heard the tragic story of your original guitarist Doug Hopkins. Just wanted to share my condolences. Been a Gin Blossoms fan since high school which, for me was mid 2000's. Hey Jealousy was one of the first songs I learned on guitar and I felt like an acoustic rockstar lol. Still, you guys rock and your music brings people together during these crazy times so I really appreciate you guys. Cheers to 30 years. I know Hopkins is somewhere up there with a smile on his face knowing that his band continued to move forward. May his legacy live on. Much love, sincerely
