We put up 130ft for Hernando Broadband. He's the guy on the ground at the end of the video. This is part two! Hi Tom!

Do you run your own WISP/ tower company? What is getting installed on this tower when finished, internet? Looks like very interesting work

I wish you could install my tower. I don’t do Heights. I guess I’m going to try and pull my 80 footer up And I’ve got a hazer to go on it.

tower well I’m trying to learn all I can about how tower antennas are mounted because I’m trying to start a WISP. That information seems to be the hardest to come by.

guy wires with the clamp saddles on the dead side, saw enough. Make us a video when this crap-install collapses, it's bound to be entertaining.

Yeah it looks like you're right. I won't film it though! Sometimes sarcasm sometimes works. U win;

@@tower9969 I had to learn the hard way. Emergency under-way repairs to a shroud wire in sailing rigging, in the rush I didn't pay attention, got them on the wrong side. the repair failed under load, in poor conditions. Some of us just have to learn things the hard way. :)

@@Doonit_hard_way_since_65 You need to read up more on proper clamp install, he was doing it right! When I'm putting on three clamps, I'll turn the middle clamp around, it still comes down to personal preference! Your problem was probably lose clamps!
@Doonit_hard_way_since_654 жыл бұрын
@@bebo5558 Lol, you are out of your mind People have been killed as a result of some dumbass making the wrong termination with a Crosby clip. The saddle protects the live wire from excessive concentrated crushing force. Any time they are on wrong the U bolt applies a deforming-crushing force to the live cable, and severely weakens it. The live cable against the round profile of the U-bolt slips much easier than when it is against the helical ridges in the forged saddle. Maybe learn the hardware before you use it, and follow the simplest of instructions, before your BS idiocy gets someone killed. Go read "Establishing Standards for Effective Wire Rope Clip Installation" bu the US Dept of Interior, Bureau of Mines, investigations 1973. There is a whole section on testing wire rope termination failures. Assuming you can read, since you seemingly missed the instruction sheet for the simple Crosby clip.
