I was so happy that Chris was along with you on this shopping trip. I got tickled when you opened my box( old red flocked items and small masher). I realized I bought the items from a ginger for a ginger. The owner of the store is a young man ( not much younger than you), I’ve loved and called my red headed son while he called me mom. Hi Yvonne! I loved your little thrift haul. I have pictures of my sister and I in 1960 (!!) with the same little alphabet chalkboard🤗 it was mounted on a little desk with built in seat. The hammer DID go with it! It came with red, green, blue and yellow round wood peg pieces with a little stem, that you tapped into the holes on the inside of the box. I actually recently found several of the pieces in my parents stuff. That means they’ve been floating around with them for almost 65 years😳🤗.OF COURSE I kept them♥️♥️

Hi Yvonne, the old chalkboard box you asked about the wood malot. Perhaps if the bottom of the box has holes in it,(peg board bottom) it's for peg They would use the little mallet to smack the pegs in.

The little mallet goes with the chalkboard. My brother had one of those back in the 70s! It would of had little colored wood things to hammer into the pegboard that makes the back of the box.

I love the unboxing. Sometimes, when you get those Littles, if they are made of plastic or glass or ceramic, you know you can make molds from them and then you can pour in either resin or resin Crete, or even some paper clay. When they come out, you can paint them as to your own design. Since Littles are so hard to come by that. might be an idea you could run with. I’m keeping an eye out for Littles, so I can make molds. I’m on the lookout for a mouse mold, but everyone I see seems to have either a hat on or cheese in his hand. Still looking.

I've followed you for a few years and love the repurposing videos best, but I really agree with others who have suddenly had a very hard time hearing you so I turn up the volume, but then the ads blast me out of my chair😂. I haven't changed devices as some assume and I am not hard of hearing. I know you said you received a new microphone for Christmas but you were not going to use it again after so many of your followers suddenly had trouble hearing you. Anyway, I love your channel so I hope you can fix it on your end because I don’t like using the captions🤓. I follow both of your channels and LOVED the Christmas decor you did, especially the ginormous garland over the kitchen sink❤

My mom use to have a ceramic shop in the 70's. That owl was suppose to be a nightlight. Holes were drilled in it. (on the front feathers & eyes) Then it was either glazed & fired in kiln or fired & painted.

I have seen some very good replicas, such as the bag I bought at kislux . The craftsmanship of modern replicas is becoming increasingly sophisticated, and they are within millimeters of each other. It is difficult to tell which ones are fake.
