The books, though I admit that even though they were at the bins it pained me that the set was broken up. I should have been a librarian!

God Save the Goodwill Outlet! I got an entire set of Britannica's _Great Books of the Western World_ at mine, it was a 60-volume set and turned into a two trip hunt as I couldn't find volume 60 until I returned a few days after finding volumes 1-59. Just recently I came across a fully functional Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer. This place is amazing! WEAR GLOVES AS YOU RUMMAGE!

A tip for tea pots without lids and cracks...wedge them in a hedge row or tree with the spout angled down for birds to make nests in. Spout down to help with drainage, any cracks are good because they help with that as well💖

The blue and white dinner set is a fab find. The other dishes go up the other way. They're bowls with a small foot. I always feel they're a bit too easy to topple over if you're not careful, but they look nice.

Even if the lamp doesn’t work you could cut the cord off and make a candle holder out of it. I’ve done that with metal light fixtures I have one that was painted over and got as you say rusty crusty😊 love your videos I get inspired by them

If the lamp doesn't work you can easily buy a replacement for the electrical part. The part is made specifically to convert an oil lamp to electric.

Interested to see what you do with the vase fillers. They look like the kind of fungus growth that grows on trees, the mushrooms that are disc shaped. The blue & white English ironstone was gorgeous!! I think those other white pieces were used as pedestals for the plates. I could be wrong though.

I love those blue/white dishes! I would have grabbed them too. The ironstone you showed with it looks like a candle holder. And even if I'm wrong, and they are meant to go the other way, you can still repurpose them as candleholders. Find the right size candle to fit.

The smaller plates from UK are side plates. For your 🍞 bread at the meal table,or your sandwiches. I’m not sure but are the white things that you thought were candle holders, are they egg cups for your boiled eggs and toast, just an idea. Could not really workout the size of top opening. Great finds.

I held my breath when you broke up that set of books… I really wish you had left the complete set so someone who collects books and knew what they were all about could have bought the set. . For future reference, please don’t break up sets of books like that leave them for book collectors, who realize the value of them. The odd little looking bowls you got with your blue China set, I do believe those are rice bowls.
