George Haddad *REAL TIME TALK* Well, frankly speaking, by the time your final album is released you only tour outside of your home country, and the voice you ONCE had, ceases to exist due to years of chain-smoking, drug and alcohol abuse... And then DIE as a result, I think that title, "The Greatest of All Time" is held by other legendary female vocalists who didn't destroy themselves habitually over and over again till the Angel of Death came knocking.

I love Whitney. I know Bobby B. didn't get Whitney on drugs but, he partied hard too. I know she really loved him. She spiraled out of control after they split but, I still don't think he was right for her. RIP Whitney you were and still are loved. The Houston family did nothing but, take her money.
@lokeyborders
@lokeyborders 3 жыл бұрын
Whitney spiraled while with Bobby brown. Fame got the best of her plus he was jealous of whitney success. He wanted that for himself. She tried so hard to please him and include him so he wouldn't feel left out. But he just didn't have what whitney had. So his cheating and disrespect just constantly sent her over the edge. He hurt whitney bad. Then the industry pulling at her and changing her into somebody else was wayyyy too much. She was just confused and lost. All she wanted was to be semi normal and be loved unconditional by her man and be a family. That's all she wanted!!!

Dang, I don't think I've seen this interview. I know it's all said and done, but I wish she never would've done drugs. Maybe I'm putting her voice on a pedestal, but she just had something so rare, special and unique. I've never heard another singer with her clarity. That's my favorite thing about her voice. The words always came out so clearly. Perfect enunciation. Second, she was able to hit and hold big notes for 10+ seconds and never get winded. I think that's so rare. See, that's where I get that *too black and unmarketable* thing from- Clive Davis. It's wrong, but when you're trying to make money, you do whatchu gotta do. Dang, I didn't know they called her an *oreo* as well. That's when she should've acted ugly and said *I can sing better than everybody in this damn room and if ya'll wanna come on stage and challenge me, let's give it a go*. Why would you limit yo'self, be black and stifled and make hundreds of thousands when you can crossover and make millions? Who wouldn't? Anyway, she's still my auntie and I love her. #anditsstillallgood

LaCheleWallace you make it seem like she was wrong for doing drugs.. she had demons that couldn't be helped .. and you make it seem like drugs lead to her death and it really didn't .. I don't think the drugs were the only thing that affected her voice .. people Say I wish she didn't do this and that and etc but had no control over it .. so don't wish for anything that you have no control of ..she was old enough to do what she wanted.. and how is she your aunt ? musically aunt? .. not trying to be rude just honest I'm a huge fan but im having her back a little different .. more of a cooler unblaming way .

+Scott Awaywithit I know Jesus spoke in Aramaic tongue while hear on earth. Jesus also spoke a number of other languages. But the point is, from Christ Jesus himself... No one can judge another. His words are clear! No one sin is greater then the other. This woman was a true gift from God, yet so many feel the need to judge her. Whitney is resting in the arms of the lord. She is not here to defend herself against people who speak as if they lived inside that woman's body. They are ridiculous, and trying to make, and are successfully making money off of a woman who no longer resides on Earth. This is beyond negative.... People are complex, and three dimensional. No one is perfect, but God still loved her because she made it crystal clear that Jesus Christ is her lord and savior.

Why does everybody keep saying in essence that Bobby Brown brought her down when it is well known by now that Whitney Houston was already an experienced drug user long before she met Bobby? To know that something is not true yet keep reporting it as fact is VERY unethical for a media outlet.

newcreature2011 So true.. Those brother's were bad influence on lil nippy, mom was on the road pop's was who knows where? so the brother's had full reign on lil nippy. They turned her on to drugs, liquor and fighting. They treated her like a boy. It happens when you are the only girl. I was the only girl in my family, 4 brothers. Our mother was working and all I had was my brother's, oh they taught me how to sniff glue from a paper bag, how to fold newspaper's and deliver them, I was having a ball, fighting, cussing, collecting coke bottles for the refund. They got me in a lot of trouble smoking hashish, weed and selling it. Not cute for a girl. But I understand how it can happen.

The industry's demands ruin their lives...She was promised she didn't have to tour The Bodyguard album, and she'd be able to stay at home and nurse her newborn for two years, and the total opposite occured. They didn't expect The Bodyguard to be the hit it was so they struck while the iron was hot and she did a damn near 3 year strenuous tour promotion of The Bodyguard. She needed to rest! No female singer toured like Whitney.

Yes, there is a lot of pressure, and she should have listened to her heart. Even if a "breach of contract" may happen, I wish she had carved out time for her personal life, time for her marriage, time for her child. I never imagined Miss Houston's meteoric rise would end like it did.

Whitney's life is no different than any other human beings life, she just lived it publicly.Subject to public discrimination and as a result of Others putting her up on a pedestal contrary to who She really was and trying to live the life through others eyes. So we fail every time and we are casted into Hell. If nothing else we should learn something.. Be Who you are...and leave judgement to GOD She was Blessed with an Incredible gift Her voice and she Delivered. We did not let her Live and be Whitney so at least let her RIP. We are not perfect! We are Blessed, we live,We Die..Live and Let Live. Embrace her Love of God, her Spirit and Her Legacy! We all have faults yet we want to be remembered for our Good. I do and I know you're gonna let me! Those without sin cast the 1st stone.. Huh?? #Hush

This is a very negative program. She had tired vocal cords during "The Bodyguard Tour" and it was a very long worldtour. Her longest worldtour was "The Bodyguard Tour". She only cancelled a few concerts during that tour. from what I have read about that. During her "My Love Is Your Love" tour she also only cancelled a few dates. Yes, she was addicted to drugs, but she did not cancel a lot of tour dates. Her only notable cancellations was at the Academy Awards in 2000 and a tour date in her hometown in Newark, New Jersey. Otherwise she rarely cancelled concerts. Even on her last worldtour she made it through, despite the problems with her voice.

Unfortunately, Miss Houston's drug use ruined her career. All the great music and performances are overshadowed by her inability to rehabilitate. I am sure drugs are not an easy thing to kick. She never acknowledged her problem; I think had she done so, she may have been on the road to recovery. Then, to make matters worse, her daughter succumbed to the same excesses. She didn't have a chance. She should not be gone at such a young age (48). Even though she left behind some very wonderful songs, her own life was terribly out of control. That overshadows the greatness.
