This block has actually made 500 before. But gingium changed out the pistons for some higher compression ones if I remember correctly. It was Mr. Mattman's engine before (if it's still the same one as he bought)

*update log 15/07/2020:* -Molly is finally completed, she's now making ( *surprise* ) hp! -Added some Mafia vibes in the intro -added subtle "stututu" sound effect on molly -removed 2 cylinders from the vtec machine -added the option to change hair colour to the main npc, aka Pasha -Pasha is now the new car alarm system for molly (14:09)

Silicone coupler expanding won't affect power more than 0.1HP during spool up unless it's actually leaking. Once it's pressurized, it's the same as a piece of solid pipe.

Agreed. A blown 1UZ in that little Mazda would be a drift missle. I think supercharging it is a better option anyways, instant V8 torque, instant supercharged boost. Stock 1UZs rods, bearings (especially early non-Vvti) will be able to withstand a reasonable amount of “fun” boost from it too. Turboing it would end up being another big project..

That civic is cool. I used to build Hondas in high school. One thing I remember is Once you go boost the “vetch” is non existent. The recipe is b20 block on a LS head will give you way more torque. Good luck w the build.

Props on making that power with a 1.6l and that turbo. My built-ish WRX powered 99 Celica was pushing around 360-ish to 4 wheels but since then I've been tinkering on a 95 E36 Coupe with a turbocharged Ford 4.6l V8 32v DOHC setup and have hit over 500hp at the wheels with a lot of room to go. Will probably be tearing it down and rebuilding for AWD when time permits. Maybe then it'll do something besides spin half the time on downshift, makes for fun drifting but slows me down in the long run lol. Most of my projects are mishmashes of this and that, whatever I have laying around the shop or in my donor barn at the moment that will get the job done well.

That is so sweet. What octane you running? What fuel management. I have a 91, bought the PNP2 but couldn't tune it so returned it to stock as it's my daily. Got alot of work to do that requires lots of money and time. Building mine is pretty much a dream at this point.

First off those are great numbers!!! My 9.5:1 BP4W build with a gen2 2860 is making 400whp 330wtq on e85 w/ 22psi and it literally runs like a better 2560 so you'll love the upgrade come time for it.

I deal with almost anything as far as standalones. My favorites are Link, Haltech, and Megasquirt, but literally any modern standalone works great nowadays. OEM ECU based flash tuning is a different story. I do a decent amount of some of the more popular setups like Cobb, Hondata, UpRev, and SCT, but not nearly as much variety as the standalone side of things
