I met Travis years after he'd been a sparring partner for Cassius Clay (1960s), who became known as Muhammad Ali. Handsome & kind, Travis was a gentleman who was well liked when he visited our local Inn in Richmond Hill. I'm very sad to know he passed away from cancer in 2013. Travis was only about 2 years older, and I thought he'd reach his 70s at least, as I have. R.I.P. Travis, you were a nice guy.

By then I kind of knew L.I. was pretty much done and wasn't watching as steadily as the years before. This angle kind of brought me back fully just to see if they finally started to bring the likes of Brito JR, Armand Rougeau, Richard Charland and the DellaSerra on top of the group + bringing great jobbers to the mid-card status. Clearly with no time left and most probably the loss of the TV program would spell the final ending.

Amazing thanks you very much for posting this , I miss my dad so much the video had his name is spelt correctly Cowboy Tray Travis , Born Travis Lewis Sugden , here's a funny story ; only one other person living knows , my father got the idea of wrestling from watching WWF , with my brother, Brandon and I ; one morning , my dad did a pretty good imitation of macho man Randy savage , it was really cool , so good I think it gave him the idea of wrestling, why not he had been promoting boxing for years , my father was quite the character ; I like to think it's where I got the show business bug , all three of us are in show, business someway or another ; myself theatre , my sister, Las Vegas magician , my brother, former NHL/ AHL enforcer .. thanks so much , My father will always live in my heart. You're kindly welcome, Bill. I truly enjoyed reading your memories of your father and am glad I could help rekindle some other memories of him too. I do have the roll of quarters match between Rocky Della Serra and Gino Brito Jr. where your dad is in Gino Jr's corner. That's cool how you and your siblings entered showbiz careers, much like your father, who I'm sure would be extremely proud of you all. Do you recall how your dad got in touch with International Wrestling to do this angle with Gino Jr?

I'm not sure other than my father was a promoter, so he knew a lot of people. He also worked a lot in Montreal. So I think when my dad got the idea of doing wrestling, it just all fell in place .. I am not so famous as my father, brother and sister , if you're interested, my sister is Anastasia Synn she works a lot in Las Vegas and is on TV and KZbin , I am studying to be a theatre teacher , here in BC Canada ; but any footage you have of my dad is very appreciated ... thanks @@KaijuEigaMan88

If you look at the beginning of this video, you'll notice my father's name is spelt Tray not Trey , it matters so much to me because I named my son Tray after his grandfather, my dad I am also named after my father. My middle name is Travis .. Thanks again so much for posting this video. I miss my dad.

It wasn't wrong ;) here's a funny story I named my son Tray after my dad everybody said I spelt my son's name wrong. They thought it would be the French way when in fact, it is actually. Tray Travis , it is tradition in our family to carry on our in grandfathers name , my father has his grandfather. I have mine , and my son has my father, which is his grandfather ;) @@KaijuEigaMan88
