Showing off the durability of the TFW Ginunting with yet another cut video, this time a tough one because I had smashed my elbow badly in a car accident. Cutting till this is healed is not easy but i do it anyway. It still cut through nicely.
That along with a brief lesson on how to use the Ginunting. Those lessons are done with the TFW training Ginunting. I hope you enjoyed this video.
You can get both, the training Ginunting and a very high quality razor sharp Ginunting on www.TraditionalFilipinoWeapons.com
Just enter "Ginunting" in the SEARCH area and you will see both there.

Chopping wood in philippines has few style. Thin once is use the front edge. But cutting thick woods is use the back edges. The thicker side of the sword. Dont use the middle nor the front cutting woods. Use the blade near the handle to get more force of cutting hard items.

Its good you are a wood cutting expert but here I was chopping it light to show off how sharp and how durable this thinner sword is. I did it with light hits for a good reason...to show how well the blade cuts even on light hits. In my other videos i swing it hard...one I cut through thick bone.

@@RonOrGina okay sorry about that . I grow up in forest in the Phippines and my Job was cutting trees with jungle bolo, making charcoal, I love your ginunting,hi much is that?

Ginuniting is a martial weapon of the warrior class not for hacking trees. A Philippine bolo is better suited.

Of course I know that. I just wanted to show how durable it is. The TFW Ginunting is the best out there right now. ;)

@@BLUELawin I don;t know why you say that...we have maybe a 100 or more designs on the TFW web site. This one is the top seller. I am Pekiti Tirsia and i know PTK people all over the world which is probably the reason why it is TFW's top seller. I can have a 100 made and within 5 to 6 months, they are sold out.

@@BLUELawin why are you saying that? I am bringing back Filipino history here that many do not know about. The other half of TFW is in the Philippines and I have a lot of worker there in a village where they can support their families, and kids in school with everything they need for school. I am proud of what i do here from the US and in the Philippines. Why you are so racist and rude to me I do not know. But telling me to stop, did you think i was going to say...OK I will stop. :D :D :D

heheheh, yah not that i am a tree hugger, I do take care of nature. Thats part of my back yard where i am slowly clearing trees for the newer pine trees to grow there. We have bad winters and seeing green in the back yard woods looks better...not so dead. :)
