The Place looks very nice and has a Large Balcony which is great. All of the New Condos in Florida usually has Impact Windows which helps drown out outside sound. They probably install them on the New Balconies in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Great move Sir !!!

For the noise ,I would get noise reductions glasses for the windows ,will make huge difference ,almost 80-90 % of the noise will be gone ,see if the landlord would reduce your rent if you do so .Beside that,its literally a perfect condo with very great price ,good for you man well deserved.

Great find Gio! You’re getting it setup really nicely. Another idea for sound deadening besides the rugs is to hang items on the wall too. Something that works very well is to have a square frame and stretch a fabric over the front, wrap the material all the way around the edges and staple/nail it to the inside. You can have multiple frames like this in various colors and create your own color scheme. A 2’x3’ or 2’x4’ size works good. Happy new year.

I spend time there occasionally. Lacson street has some good restaurants and coffee shops. Traffic is tolerable as well. Just wish there was a nice beach nearby.

You can't beat having keycard access for added security, grocery and water in walking distance and help when you need it! Good luck to you!!

Was in Bacolod in October 2024 for the Festival. I think our Airbnb was right next to your new condo! We are recognizing all the surroundings! Used the 7-Eleven on the ground level. LOL. Didn't see any stovetop for cooking.

O is a great place and very, very convenient. Don't overlook the Handyman Hardware store over in the mall, it's my favorite in all of Bacolod. I'm jealous that you are so close to it. You haven't mentioned your close proximity to Riverside Hospital, it's practically right around the corner. I consider it the premier hospital in Bacolod. I've had everything done from bloodwork at their lab to major surgery with 100% confidence. Their cancer center is one of the best in the country. If applicable for you, Tricare and FMP both accept their work, however you do have to file the paperwork yourself. The have a pretty nice lil food court with a nice coffee kiosk in the new wing also for a comfy snack on a hot day. That road located one street west of you (Gatuslao) is a great route to head to Ayala on your bike, you can avoid the Lacson traffic. Check out Boodie's Bistro for some great food, easy walk from your condo. I'm always to see another Army Vet move into town.💣

Excellent choice! It is really tough to beat a condo. You really do get so much value for your money vs a apartment/house. The street noise there really doesn't seem bad. If I was sitting on the balcony, I would use some noise canceling earbuds. Living in a location That is in close proximity to the important places you need is really a stress saver. I can see why this condo ticks the boxes for you 🎉🎉🎉

It looks like a good place with the functional kitchen hot water shower and spacious balcony... Also i like that swimming pool... it looked good for swim laps.... Yes its a great decision to join a Gym for keeping the ticker moving... This looks a little like the condos in Thailand... it needs a touch of paint rugs and good decorations for atmosphere.. The balcony is much larger than expected... but it will provide you a mental space for catching the night sky and breezes.. Looking forward to see how it goes... great job Gio... I'm always looking for condos with balconies and not always so easy to find in the PHilippines. You got a huge Balcony, like half the size your unit! You could pitch a tent with a bed in it and sleep a few more people out there. Good find

Yes agree not always easy to find particuly in the cities. The appartments l have stayed at in Valencia, Panglao have had great balconies with excellent swimming pools. Only one bedroom but enough for me. Paid 23 k for Valencia and 26 k for Panglao.

I remember watching a video of the construction of a BPO building behind Robinson's mall. I think they called it Cybergate. So if your condo is next to Robinson's mall, you are indeed close to call center workers. Lots of potential female company. And if you go often to the Landers store, Megaworld also has BPO buildings there so more potential female company.

Yes much better than when I lived there in a studio/balcony for 20k. I used a globe wifi hub and phone data and had a CD player for movies on tv. Great to here your happy. Good luck 😊

I know the exact building!!! Personally, I wasn't a big fan of Bacolod, but I believe a lot has changed for the better since then. You're fairly on top of that big tv, so wall mounting might help a little. I would rather listen to the sound of traffic than rainfall (depressing... I get too much of that already!!!) Anyway, its a nice apartment, fair price... best of luck with it and your new start Gio.

I'd suggest you get a UPS for your router. The balcony is huge and having outside sitting like that makes it well worth it. Gunny's is among the best burgers in town, however my preference is Meatheads. I find Cafe Bob's, while having great food, is wildly overpriced.
