The part explaining her safejump after throw is probably one of the most important things a new player can learn about fighting games. Safe jumps are essential in a game that doesn't allow you to option select a lot of things. Great vid Kensou :)

Now this is a very well made and well explained tutorial vid. The clips used weren't fast and easy to miss and the text doesn't clog up the screen. Also as a personal bias the music in the second half definitely hit me in the nostalgia feels since it's from the Bloody Roar series!! I especially loved the last track since it belonged to one of my favorite characters. This video is incredibly top tier and I will watch on repeat....starting now.

I was just had a look at GGS’ roster for the first time. Design wise, Giovanna interested me the most so here I am looking at a summary of her abilities. My first impression of her was a “wind elemental Zappa” because of the spiraling green wolf spirit (also I was a Zappa main in AC).

Excellent guide, of course! Got me wanting to try her out. I'm really curious how you get some of those in game shots. I imagine some of it is using a green screen mod. The part where you zoom slowly in on Gio, and Nago makes me wonder. Is that only a free-cam mod? Did you separate them from the background for that parallax-like effect? Awesome vid. One question, I noticed if I hit the opponent with 5k, doesn't matter if they block I don't think, then dash immediately after Giovanna does this like extra fast burning the ground dash cancel that is quick but can't be canceled like normal. Is that a new mechanic? Cuz I've never seen anyone mention this.

Gio, May, and Sol were the only characters on release with dash cancels. However the ground spark animation was not present on release. In Season 2 dash cancels including the ground spark are a universal change to everyone with 5k and Close Slash attacks with the exception of Nago and Potemkin. Glad you enjoyed and happy to reply 🙏

if you are having trouble, try delaying a dash after close slash so you don’t get the orange one then throw immediately. note if close slash hits you can’t throw.

For Noobs isn't designed to have combo sections, strategy is the focus. However there are combo examples featured in every section.
