Rangaswamy peak is coming under Nilgiris wildlife sanctuary and tiger reserve forest. Rangaswamy Peak is also called a Rangaswamy pillar. At the top of the hill, is the Ranganatha Swamy temple. The devotees are allowed to visit the temple for only one month in the Tamil year (Puratasi). It will be a thrilling adventure to walk inside the forest and the nature surrounding us will be very beautiful. It will be joyful trekking. we need to cross stages to reach the temple. Initially, we enter inside the forest after 1 Km of the walk we enter into the tea farm (Tea Estate) and continue our walk for another 1Km. Later we again start to walk inside the forest for another 3 Km which is the difficult part of the trip. The mountain path is very sloppy with ununiform roads and very steep staircases. After 5Kms of walk inside the forest, we will reach the Ranganathar temple which is a very small but beautiful temple. People enjoy the climate and Nature.We had a wonderful trip and we enjoyed it a lot.
