I met him after a show in Tampa, and he walked past our table to go back the green room and we told him how funny his show was, and he stuck his hand out for a shake, but it was so dark I didnt notice (he was also of course in all black with the weight lifting gloves lol) and so he goes, "Aw what the fuck man, I try to shake your hand and you leave me hanging like I'm fuckin Luis over here? Now I know how it feels to be an UGLY Puerto Rican." LOL - we cracked up and he shot the shit with us for a bit and asked us where the good weed was haha. Love Big Jay

@@victoralley708 He has talked about this before and admitted that it is unlikely he will blow up to the level of those you mentioned because of jokes he made in the past. Woke culture has ruined so much and jokes are now taken too seriously. He began in the black comedy scene then moved to style that he is known for now. He has said too many things that the 'woke' corporate sponsors won't touch him for larger productions. He grinds hard to get what he has now. I wish he would be able to be at a bigger level but until people quit being pussies I don't see it happening. It is a shame.

Yeah keeping the crowd on your side while doing material like he does is not easy at all. I saw a video of him calling a woman and her friend bags and the crowd loved it. Then he said he was impressed that she only had 2 kids with the same guy and instantly lost the crowd. Not surprised just impressed because she earlier mentioned she had gone through hard times. Crowds are unpredictable. Just never know. Kill with top level roasting and then have the entire crowd turn on you during one nice innocent comment.
