Such sweet love. I hope this goes viral. The chicken looks more like a hen to me than a rooster: I see no hackle feathers, saddle feathers, or sickle feathers as one would see on a rooster. The large comb is a feature of many breeds and both hens and roosters can have a prominent comb, although it is larger in the roosters of each breed. But this looks to me like a hen. I have been fortunate to have had a few very affectionate pet roosters.

I love chicken, I grew up alongside them---from chicks working to free themselves for their shells, to sweet old roosters.. This is not a rooster. The fact that the liitle girl picked up the hen from the nest, in the middle of the day, means that the hen was preparing to lay an egg. Not the right thing to allow and video. Animals are not toys and parents have nothing to be proud about, except a cute kid. Thumb down.
