6:30 don't dry fire on an open ar. It will crack receivers and it will break bolt catches. The design was mean to transfer that energy into the firing pin, not into other parts. Next time ride that hammer forward like a handgun or use something to pad the blow.

@@stonehalo1632 it doesn't break on one occurrence. But it puts easily avoided stress on it. You can imagine it as redlining your engine. Go ahead and do it 10 times if you want. Don't forget that 30 years ago people weren't wearing hearing protection because they had the belief that shooting unprotected won't damage your hearing. You would be that crowd.
