Not sure if you are advising that you know & aren’t ready or he knows and isn’t ready…..Either way, DO NOT let another 6 years pass you by(your 20’s& part of your 30’s) putting someone else’s needs before your wants/needs & desires! You are absolutely beautiful and highly intelligent…and nurturing. I KNOW there is a man out there that needs & wants that NOW! Not 6 years from now. So if the ring is not important then STAY. Get comfortable. But as you said you are “trying” to get out of your comfort zone. Apply that mindset to ALL parts of your life…not just moving out. I’m old enough to know that NO WOMAN wants to look back at her 20’s/30’s as time wasted.❤

I just got married (2023) we were together for Ten years before we got engaged. It wasn’t that we didn’t want to. We knew we were each others person we just had to make sure we were setup for success. Mentally, emotionally etc that took time. I hate that the world makes it seem like if you’re not engaged within two years that your relationship some how loses value or in most case what they tell women “he must not really be into you” it’s stupid and a lot of the times wrong. Listen honey! I am 38 years old. I have been married since I was 24. It is beautiful, but it is hard! We love each other, but the only thing that has kept us together is God! Don’t allow anyone to rush you. Get your finances together, your emotions, your relationship with God (separately/together), and your communication with each other. I also suggest counseling together prior to marriage. Don’t allow anyone to put a time frame on something that is easy to get into, but hard to get out of especially when children are involved. We are coming up on 14 years and I’m happy we stuck it out and fought through the tough times. I also agree with the comments about not allowing someone to drag you along when you’ve made your intentions/plans clear. This is your life and you only get one. Do things how and when you see fit. My man and I have been together almost 6 years and got engaged earlier this month. Everyone kept telling me to “leave him, move on, he doesn’t know what he wants.” People are quick to judge from the outside without knowing anything about a person. My fiancé is my best friend and I can’t go into words how good he treats me and all of the things he’s done for me the moment we started dating. I met him when I was 20 still trying to understand life and myself I couldn’t imagine marrying anyone around that time. We always talked about our future together and now the time is right. I noticed the ones who judge quickly are single, miserable , struggling to find or keep a man and want to drag you to their position. If your happy with your partner that’s all that matters!!

I’ve been with the same man for ten years. I lost my mom when I was 2 weeks away from having my first baby, her first grand. He is now 2, & it was and still is HARD. Losing a parent in general is hard, but you feel that loss more during milestones.

Being really open on Social Media is really no different than in any other area of life, where you don't REALLY know the people! (I know I used 'really' too often ... lol!!) I'm generally a very open person, and often share too much, and it can come back to bite you in ways that you could never imagine, because we don't think like that and wouldn't treat another person that way! It's hard lessons learned ... especially the one to VALUE those people that we can really trust, and unfortunately we will always have to be smarter about what and who we share ourselves with!! LISTENING CLOSELY, AND TRUSTING YOUR 1ST INSTINCTS are VERY IMPORTANT tools when determing who, what, where, when you can trust and don't DIVE IN too quickly! You're smart, you know what to do! ❤🎉😊❤

Everyone has these imaginary timelines. At the end of the day you have to do what’s best for you and your relationship. Relationships are had work, marriage is even harder. One thing you’ve said that is important is growing together in your relationship. Learning and understanding. Marriage will happen when it’s time. Only you two can decide that.

6 years no ring is a bit much tho…you’ve given so much to another person. Men know. Men know immediately and don’t waste time when they know. Genuinely wish you the best tho.
@NaturallySunny7 ай бұрын
KNOWING and being READY is two totally different things though. Being ready looks completely different than knowing you want to be married to someone fyi. And girl you do not wish the best for me & that is okay 👌🏽
@darling-niki88117 ай бұрын
Yea I AGREE!!! I say IF someone doesn't know after 6 years+ that they're ready to commit to you, then that's a major RED FLAG. Also being that you have moved out on ur own, pay ur bills on ur own & A man that doesn't feel a way or compelled to want to help his woman BUILD that together??? Ummm IDK- feels OFF to me. But to each its own & well wishes.

Congratulations on having a love that is willing to grow with you and do right by you. When you all are ready, things will be beautiful! Your life! Your own pace! Your story to create!

@@NaturallySunny not to be going back-and-forth or anything like that, but you can genuinely have a difference of opinion and still wish the best for someone. I have been a silent supporter for a long time, and I think you are a beautiful young woman with a good head on your shoulders. There was no ill intent just a caution to the wind. Something I see in my line of work quite often.
@kemaclem7 ай бұрын
@@bohosweet Reading your original comment with an OPEN MIND vs playing defense would see no ill intent. You are absolutely correct. Men know! And men who appreciate & know what they have, don’t hesitate. They are READY to make a move, not comfortable & enjoying the amenities. Do not expect someone(a MAN) to make a costly commitment if it will give them nothing they do not already have! Message!

I would just say that if you are a Christian and you believe in the word of God. Put God first above having sex etc because sex is meant for marriage for intimacy , to bond, and to pro create with your husband. Outside of marriage sex is sin and displeasing to God. It doesn’t take years to get married, it only takes the true desire , and understanding of its importance by both the man and the woman. So really it’s just between you and God and where you’re at spiritually.

I think your journey with your partner is your business and not people place to give an opinion. I just loss my father a month and a half ago. I’m in my 30s and I now know how it feels to loose a parent. The triggers and grief comes at random times. I definitely understand the marriage and a father not being there. You’re doing amazing and I see growth on your channel❤❤. I would love to do micro blading. You can’t see my brows without tint 😂
@NaturallySunny7 ай бұрын
My condolences sis! I think thats the part that people do not understand. Those triggers come out of nowhere and you really have to navigate them or its going to make you depressed(real bad). So i just hope we all navigate it with grace. Thats all we can do. And omggg! Get it! I trulyyy had the biggest confidence boost. I do recommend to get your brows waxed by someone you tryst first and then really do research on who to go to. Like look at their work for like a month or so.

Your meet and greet idea is so cute! Thanks for sharing and being vulnerable. I know it’s not easy cuz persons on social media are ruthless sometimes. I too can relate with being in a long term relationship and getting constant pressure from family and friends re: marriage and so on. It’s frustrating and can be taxing on your relationship as well if it’s internalized so I totally get it. Everything will fall into place when the time is right. 🤍🤗
