Holy sh*t. The carrying shame on your back and letting others win. That is the realest thing I’ve ever heard and most relatable. Four years ago I fell out with a group of girlfriends who did me wrong and I went into hermit mode. I stopped doing my hair, my makeup, stopped getting my nails done, gained 30 lbs., don’t get dressed up anymore. I’m just NOW starting to get my hair done, wear makeup, and am toying around with getting my nails again. I’m tired of hiding! I want to be seen again. So thank you for reminding me that I’m letting them win by not shining. ❤

Adding to your “men can’t be alone” stance, this is why you should never be friends with men after a breakup or if they make it clear that they don’t want you. Being friends with him is basically having you as a placeholder to fulfill his emotional, social, and sexual “needs” until he can find the girl he really wants them from.
@haileygamba Жыл бұрын
Lol I have learned that as well ! I understand the reason for wanting a friendship but all of it will come to an end at some point !

2:50 “you dont have to break up with someone because they did something horrific to you” Lets normalize just detaching from people that dont serve us for any reason. I feel like we do infact try to rationalize things but as Hailey said “you know what you gotta do,” wishing for the babes whos reading this to find the courage to put yourself first and leave when your heart calls you to leave. Thank you for the great content as always Hailey ❤️

As a former mean girl, I agree that it comes from self hate but it also came from my mother being my first bully. I’ve done the work to not put that hate on other people but I’m still working on the self love part but I would consider myself an amazing woman today. I say that to say give some grace to “mean girls” because someone, most likely their mother, taught them hate. People aren’t born mean and hateful it’s taught. But I love the overall message!

MOVING! ON! FROM! RELATIONSHIPS! THAT! NO! LONGER! SERVE! YOU! This is so important I know many of us still struggle with letting go of friends or even family. Sometimes your family are the low vibrational people in your lives who are holding you back from achieving more. They may be the ones bringing you down and that's when your self doubt kicks in. Being aware of the energy around me is my biggest takeaway of 2023. I accepted it and moved on and luckily, I was able to attract the ones who are FOR ME. Thank you for your wisdom!

I am watching you Hailey to break away from the toxic female stereotypes I have met in my life. I got married recently, and I found myself very anxious about "getting fat-have more responsibility- getting depressed and bitter- forget my dreams and ambitions" aka (Letting myself go), simply because every woman in my family and my partner's family became this image of a woman who neglected herself since 1880 and wear Costco pants. Yet, every time I watch you, I am reminded that their reality is not mine, and there work to do If I do not want to end up the same. Thanks a lot for your videos. Please don't stop!

I literally love you. Quote: This is the worse I am ever going to look! Girl, you spoke my mind because this is what I told myself at the beginning of this year, before I went so hard at weight loss, I dropped more than 30lbs. One month ago, I walked into an orthodontist office and girl, this is worst I am ever going to look! I broke up a toxic relationship 2019 and went into depression for almost two years. But I held on. I finished my degree and got a full time job. I hope this encourages somebody.

Yes, there are “Beauty Standards,” but that doesn’t make them “the” standard, nor does it make it facts of what beauty looks like. There’s beauty in all colors, shapes, & sizes. I’m sure you meant well when you said this, but for others who may have taken that in a different direction, understand that society's beauty standard is false, & it’s not to feel like you have to look like the things other people deem beautiful. God created all of us different for a reason, & that includes the different shades, sizes, colors, etc. There’s no one better than the other. Although people don’t like to admit this harsh reality that one race has been put above all by their own, people make it seem as if it’s facts & it’ll never be facts. I truly dislike how people will roll over to that & make it seem as if it’s “normal” & that we all just have to “accept” it. The answer is no.
@haileygamba Жыл бұрын
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 💯! When I speak on these things I’m talking about societal standards.. whether right or wrong they are reality.
