A nice thing to want fot your kid but I was still the one pulling all nighters, taking the practice tests, going to the study halls, going to tutoring with upperclassmen and hustling. Hi Hailey I adore you and your videos. As a mature woman I would say ladies please heed Hailey's words and take action for yourselves. As a mother of an adult child, many parents will try to get their children to either do what they didn't get to do, do what they are doing (the family business, lawyer, doctor) or and this is the important one to please understand, when they see you are not living up to your potential and not really doing too much of anything that is lined up with your level of intelligence and your financial independence. Hailey I really appreciate your wording because we mean well and some kids actually need and I will even say benefited from that push. I tell young people just do something. Go to school, get a trade, get a licensure. You do not have to do it for the rest of your life but it will get you through your 20s and 30s so you're not struggling or depending on others for basic needs, restaurants, travel, etc. As a note, focusing on self is the absolute best advice ever. Don't be dark about it. Be light. It's self focused, self elevating, and selffulness. You deserve it as a woman and it will give you the self confidence and self esteem to power forward. Focusing on others is comparing yourself to others and noting they are either better off or worse off than you. Comparison is the thief of joy.
