Touring around the Lake District | Wild Camping | Mountain Walking | Road Trip

I've been so excited to post these series of videos in the Lake District. I spent 10 days touring round this beautiful landscape with Mike and Miles, we had such a lovely time travelling round and seeing a lot of stunning places and wild camping in amazing spots all around the lakes.

Drove through those passes in a Ford Escort with an 1100cc engine getting on for 25 years ago. All the way up smelt of burning clutch and all the way down the other side of burning brakes. Car was never the same again afterwards!

I remember that blissful feeling of going to sleep in the midst of a heavy fog and waking up to clear skies, realizing just how magnificent the views are where you slept - it happened to us quite often when climbing Kilimanjaro a few months ago. The Lake District looks absolutely stunning. Yet another place to add to the list!

Loved your editing skills .... the mixture of awesome music and grandiose mountains, steams and skies segments transitioning to those segments with human conversation....then back to music and scenery again. Just a brilliant presentation of your journey day by day hiking, camping, and tooling around in the vehicle on such narrow roads. Great job. Bravo Becky. Maybe a short feature film coming soon.

Ennerdale is lovely with some amazing walking - even a circuit of the lake is well worth it. I can recommend a smallish hill I climbed for the 1st time this summer, Black Crag 1056ft near Tarn Hows not far from Hawkshead. It is fairly isolated & gives one of the best 360 degree views in all of Lakeland. Lovely vid Becks xx

nice to see the belted galloway cattle, . 3.34. . it would of been cool had some one known the different sheep breeds an pointed them out. . but still very nice memories . . thanks. . 60s/ early 70s lived an worked there 3yrs as a teenager traveling the road, before going to live an work in the orkney isles for 5yrs

nice scenery, very caledonian weather though... I wonder how many sunny days they get there in a year... well down here in Patagonia we cannot complaint, since we have the four seasons every day... I would like to visit N Umbria, Scotland & Wales, been to Ireland already & loved it. Island is on program now, as soon as we can get rid of Covid19

Wow awesome journey, I wish if I were part of this beautiful touring ,walking and trekking. In this covid 19 pandemic caused lockdown all over world ,I have been confined within the four wall of my house. But thanks u ,at least virtually, you are taking me out door into nature. I'm thinking to do same here my place 'Cold desert' and last night, I was looking for some trekking equipments online at Amazon and may be soon I will start 'bushcraft journey' into my own barren jungle. Thanks u inspired and motivated me .

Good nz morning.. Last time I was in UK, which was August 2018, my daughter and son in law and i spent a week on the Isle of Lewis. Walked a few tracks. She lives in Uk so warned me about midges and possibility of ticks. I'm still waiting .My question is.....did you have problems with midges and/or ticks in that area. ? Love your channel. Stay safe.

Ah amazing! They weren't too bad, only in some areas. The midges get worse further through the season but they are a lot worse in Scotland :) take care
