Especially when someone who may not be conventionally more attractive gets more attention. Guys that go out with intention to just smash instead of have fun with friends ruin the night. I'm not saying that we aren't more intelligent. We can make decisions for ourselves for sure, but biology still plays a part in how we act too. Our brains tell us how to move and releases oxytocin which activates the feelings of attraction (trust too). This can cause the feeling of jealousy as well when there are other potential dates are around. Now, I'm not saying you have to let these feelings take over you, but it is natural to feel this way when you are around someone you like and have not established anything concrete yet.
