This is the greatest reflection of society. Sherry cared about everyone, cooked dinner despite her age, kept all the problems inside and cleaned the house while others had fun. Plus several users on here would not deserve her either.🤬
@ScottNapolitan3 ай бұрын
And the other seven probably didn’t deserve her either, merely because they didn’t have the extra layer of maturity that she did, but most kids that young don’t, so it’s really not their fault. Now Sade was the total opposite, the house bully, and Gaby was the one who called her useless, no one else, but the others told her Gaby was wrong, plus there were many things skipped for the sake of time so we’re left only to guess and speculate many specific details. There’s no evidence anywhere that confirms that anyone except Sade and Gabrielle were actually mean to Sherry and there are all sorts of possible truths that we can’t rule out altogether for what happens during time skips. Unlike many users on this site I am not so quick to assume the worst. But yes, Sade’s terror and Gaby’s cruel words naturally would have been enough to make Sherry want to leave, and while many still supported her, that just didn’t do it. I think it’s only if S and G had left, her two arch nemeses, that there would have been a chance that she would have been prompted to stay.

Sade was for sure a bully and an instigator but I think, with all things considered, these girls did a good job of cooking, cleaning, and generally taking care of themselves. ESPECIALLY when you look at how the boys (barely) functioned. They made chore charts and cleaned, baked and cooked for each other, and were able to resolve conflicts fairly well. I feel awful for Sherry though :( poor thing. Super interesting documentary concept, I wonder how things would be different if they tried to replicate this now...?

@@littlesuzy7 The door incident early on @ 12:00 for example. Going and taking one of the other girls blanket riling everyone from sleep. Then later, after they barricade the door and another girl gets her fingers caught in the door, Sade blames it on them. Sade created the whole mess by taking another girls blanket while she slept, upsetting everyone, then blaming the other girls for reacting to her belligerent behavior. Sade throughout the video had little regards for others and sleeping. She wanted to be active and she was going to force the others to be so as well in the middle of the night. Then there's the locking herself in the bathroom. Not only is she depriving a shared space people need to have access to, she's placing her control on the group by focusing the attention on her. She's a scary one. Sherry tried to create some order and make the place more comfortable and was, roundly mistreated by Sade among others. In Sade's mind, the other's wants and needs didn't matter. Only hers.

This taught me a lot about myself too. When I watched the boys documentary, Michael was a big problem and I immediately thought that he had severe ADHD. But watching the girls, I labeled Charday (sp?) as a bully. I was shocked by some of the things the girls said/talked about, like all the talk of suicide and the mention of liking to be raped. Very adult topics.

Leave them alone, they only have the mental capacity of the kids they are, they weren’t mean to her like Sade and Gaby. At least they DID go to her when she was upset, Sade and Gaby didn’t give a s**t. I’ve tried to report your stupid comments twice today, but I guess it’s no use! I hate trolls as much as I do bullies. Why don’t you “hate” the fact that Gaby called her useless, or that Sade just terrorized everyone, Sherry being no exception. The rest of them were still okay, despite whatever you say, and they may not have been as exceptional as Sherry, but that’s okay because they weren’t like Sade, nor Gaby. They still comforted Sherry when she was upset, and you backlash ‘em for it. That’s disgusting, especially when you do it to children! Save it for Sade and Gaby, Sherry’s exclusive bullies and leave the rest of them alone!😡
@Leshpurg2 жыл бұрын
Charday reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age, and that sucks. I can see how much of a bully she was, not taking accountability for her actions and either not seeing how upset she made the others or didn't care. I was the same way for a lot of my life and didn't realize it until I saw others like me treated others or myself like that, also therapy has helped a lot. I hope she's doing better now, same goes for all the other girls.
@ivermectinuno25802 жыл бұрын
Yea but she did though. Also socialized. She responded better than most in these comments would finding out she had the most votes to be kicked out! She got a bad wrap for having “a dirty mind” when the other girls where talking about their chest in a talent show song. I respect your comment though because unlike all these other liars in here your comment is the only one that claims to see yourself in her. She wanted to do what the initial rules was in which “there was no rules” she wanted to stay up and be a kid.

@@twoeyes1922 Or both can be true. She was wanting to be this person everyone listened too like a mom, in an "I'm in charge, because I'm the mother" vibes, and why would girls away from their parents want a low key boring, motherly friend? That's weird tbh. you can tell that's how she expects to be treated. a lot of people pointed that out. A lot of women who were like Shelly pointed out how it was for them, and the expectation placed on you. And as someone who worked with kids, I know a lot of responsible kids that still acted like a kid. Having a kid play a mother role isn't a good thing, and it often leads to teen rebellion and pregnancy.
