can't believe all these haters... they were SO YOUNG.. hef chose YOUNG women for a reason.. saying that they "are biting the hand that feeds them"?! Wtf? The tv show portrayed what Hollywood and hugh hefner wanted people to believe, so telling them to "go back and watch the show and be grateful " is such a dehumanizing and misogynistic way to view all of this.. these are 2 ordinary girls talking through what they went through from their point of view, and i totally take their word over hugh Hefner and the hollywood machine's.. and i am so here for it and am sick of people trying mute another womans experience ..

Bridgett could have easily gotten a broadcasting career on her own ... she has a real natural talent and is really smart. I would love for Bridgett to have a DIY show. She is really talented in party planning, cool gifts, wrapping, and all that! I would love to see how she does her wrapping!

@tlianep I honestly think there's more to it than that but yeah he really did have a weird obsession.. your comment reminded me of the time Holly spoke about having her hair cut & curled inspired by Marylin & Hugh got pissed about it, you could be right it could just be 'cause he's got some creepy obsession but personally I just have a feeling it's because it makes them appear older, like if you think about it red lipstick has always been seen as sexy, seductive, even 'whorish' it's definetly more of a colour for women than a colour for younger girls & the same with short hair, it's more common to see older women with shorter hair

I don’t understand some of the debate around sexual abuse and trauma. You can consent to sexual acts that unintentionally cause you psychological harm. That harm could even take a long time to become visible. The “you knew what you were getting yourself into” position presents a false dichotomy. What’s worse is that this no-nuance view is causing a lot of ppl to turn to the legal system to moderate the morality of sexual involvement. Law and morality are VERY DIFFERENT. Sexual regret has been relegated as rape by some while Attaining consent is thought give carte blanche by others… Telling ppl that they can’t have been hurt by sex they chose to participate in is robbing them of their autonomy and teaching them that fabricating victimhood is the only path to healing. Likewise, telling someone that anything goes once consent is involved allows them to feel no moral obligation to assure the wellbeing of the other person.

I bet u never think about the guys' perceptive in situations similar to this. Girls use guys all the time for financial gain and go into that situation with 100% of that in mind. Act all sweet and loving while asking for $ for rent, clothes, car, car repairs, etc, all while never doing what they say or imply that they will. They get what they want, then ignore the guy until they need something else. It's one thing to be pressured into sex with a guy, but to give in because u knew of the potential financial gain and status of your choice to sleep with someone. Rape is disgusting, and nobody deserves that, but that's not the case here. Sure, u can regret it. Lots of things in life are. Some men use women for sex and some women use sex or the thought of sex for everything else. Sad but true

I believe I once heard either Holly or Bridget say they did not consider it r/pe when Hugh Hefner only granted them financial freedom (for example) if they had sex with him first. Holly and Bridget - by making it even just borderline impossible for you ladies to have money while living with him, he was coercing you into having sex with him and that IS r/pe. Bridget was also coerced into having sex with him when she was told she would not be invited back if she chose to not go up to the bedroom. You seem like wonderful, kind, genuine women and no one deserves any of the things Hefner did to you.

As a mother of two daughters, I am appalled at how little these girls thought of themselves, the idea that a spread in Playboy was something to aspire to is shocking to me. This old pervert Hefner damaged so many young girls, however since it was a transactional decision on everyone’s part the girls knew what they were getting into.

It’s soooo crazy.. (I’m catching up on all these now but starting from the beginning) but it’s crazy because as a teen girl I envied you guys soooo much. The lifestyle, the gifts, the weather, (the other women😉), the money, the fame and most importantly the BEAUTY. And YOU THREE were and still are frankly the catalyst for the boom and popularity of playboy in the Y2K era- 2015 WITH a new generation. Yall were the reasons for the sales of playboy gear and made it a girly thing instead of a man thing or it being sexual and about nude women… we could all wear playboy purses wallets, necklaces, little bunny tan tattoos, and other gear without it promoting sexuality or nudity BUT celebrating women and girlhood !!! You guys were so necessary for female progression and liberation… thank girls… thank yall so much for what yall did during that time and thank you for your honesty and coming forward today to continue to lift the veil on what real women actually look like and go through in even what is seemingly the most ideal of situations.

As someone who watched the show from the beginning to the end back in the day. I always felt all of the women who came there had a transactional relationships. All these beautiful young ladies wanted opportunities and Hefner wanted the young ladies and Man about town lifestyle. But but with Holly I felt that she actually did begin to really care for him But in the end he was just stringing her along. Which is why his relationship with Crystal always felt weird . Anyway it’s interesting to hear how these ladies see things now that they’re older. But I hope they don’t feel too bad or guilty. Life is about choices and seasons. It was just one part of their life.

I was like 10 years old watching this show with my mom and couldn’t wait to grow up and wanted to go to the mansion so bad. Like at 10 years old that was my big dream…

Very insightful interview. Holly! I’ve had a big crush on her since the first time I saw her..it’s not just her looks…the way she carries herself, her honestly, and her vulnerability make her really really attractive. She’s gorgeous like a queen. Cute to boot…I bet she’s so much fun!

The iconic duo… I used to get called Betty page from this mansion owner that trained racehorses and kinda got caught up in this cult like group but it was just parties and fun. I went into a deep dive into playboy ab 4 years ago and I LOVE YOU TWO!!

Everyone always says kendra is the most real one but i think Holly and Bridget are more genuine. Just like when Kendra had Bridget on her stupid show and we all know kendra did that just for content. Kendra would always be super loud on GND because she wanted to be center of attention.

@dextermoore278 you are right. Yes Kendra was fun as hell and young ! I was just mad about what kendra said about Holly, so sorry if I sounded like a hater. Kendra is also super pretty.

@heatherulm8587 I like Bridget and Holly, too. THEY have all gone through difficult times in their lives. I hope that they can all forgive each other and move on. I don't like seeing any one person being bullied and picked on. They have all grown up and have children except for Bridget.

Thank you both for being so courageous and vulnerable to share your stories. I hear different things from different women through the decades that have been with him. From what I gather, during this time, Heff stayed on the mattress while every women let the tip in for a minute or so then the deed was done. Not sure if there was an order he preferred or what. This sounds so foreign than anything I can even imagine.

My friends and I had sugar daddies in our early twenties, and though they weren’t HH… I can see so many similarities. You feel like it’s a mutually beneficial experience, but honestly those men have years of knowing how to gas light, manipulate, and control young women.

I come from a strong, supportive, family, and I've learned in the workplace that not everyone has had that (obviously), and the people who didn't have that sort of foundation can be very manipulative in order to achieve their goals. It sounds like some of these girls were acting from a self preservation mentality. Sucking up to the right people, degrading others, justifying actions to ease their own trepidation, and guilt... Not to mention that that was an era of beauty standards being very highly regarded. A pretty girl was a commodity, and almost inhumam. You two had college degrees, and morals, yet you were deduced to just a girlfriend because nobody was interested in who super models and playmates were at the time. The level of acceptance of that during that time blows my mind now.
