One of the things that makes Imperio so much fun to watch IS her self-expression. I find it exhilerating to watch and hear her enthusiasm and frustration. It makes you feel part of the competition, because this is how all of the competitors feel whether they show it or not. The most BORING thing in the world is to watch some of the Chinese athletes that show NO emotion. It's like watching a robot and a dead cow. Giulia Imperio, Karlos, Olivia their emotion is what makes it exciting.

Crazy that she can lift with such long nails. I have longer nails in my right hand (classical guitar) and when my thumb nail is long it absolutely digs into my ring finger. And still, even when have that nail long, its like half so long as Giulia's.

There isn't really a ton of money in weightlifting media so the weightlifters who happen to be closer to home end up getting more coverage.
