Agreed, she is making just as much a truth claim as anyone else. But for some reason she feels the right to project some superiority onto Cliffs and accuse him of superiority. That idea is coming from her, not Cliffe. Then of course she leaves frustrated as though it was all Cliffe’s fault.

Do you have any videos on your view of eschatology? This is a subject that I have been drawn to from a very young age about 7 yeasts old, I'm now 36. I feel like he could have answered the girl better, especially like after that last q of hers. We go to heaven by grace. Not by works. He stated this, but I don't think he did directly (sorry can't recheck it bc I'm on mobile and the comments are weird like that). In fact, our works are as filthy rags, which, if my memory is correct, the word there implies menstrual garments. It'd be like if you crashed your dad's shiny, new, expensive car into your families brand new house. He asks you why did that. You say you're sorry and feel really bad, and to make it up for him, you reach into your pocket and give him a used menstrual pad. Is that compensation in any slightest bit for the wrong you did? No! It's like we've done wrong 99% of our life, and say "Well God, I almost did what was right during that 1%, so that should be enough right? You know I'm not perfect, so it's ok, right?" No course not. Even if it was .1% wrong and 99.9% good, then the 99.9% good wouldn't be enough.

Cliffe, although you are truly working for The kingdom of God and do very good works in most of your conversations, you dropped a major ball with the girl in the green shirt and with others, if my memory serves me correctly. When it comes to the question of "Why wouldn't God forgive me if I've tried my hardest to live a moral life and/or just because I don't ask Jesus for forgiveness, I'm going to be judged?" First, you must be able to make them understand that they are born with the stain of " Original sin " and because of this, they are born at enmity with God, " Enemies of the Cross" Second, That all of their best works on their best day are like filthy rags before the Holy eyes of the Lord, and will never make atonement for their sin. Third, This is when Jesus should be explained to them as the door they must walk through, The only acceptable sacrifice of which God is willing to accept by faith and humility, and not by works, less any man should boast. This girl needed to understand that her idea of "good" was flawed because she thought like men think and not how God thinks. She didn't grasp the concept in humility of her wretchedness before the Lord. This why she walked away confused. You needed to emphasize that there is none good on earth. Only God in heaven. Even Jesus made this statement to the rich man who called him "Good Master". I believe that when Jesus said " You cannot see the kingdom of Heaven, less ye be born again", meant that a person must, in all humility be willing to acknowledge their desolation/ hopelessness without an acceptable sacrifice, which can only be found in the Blood of Christ. Going forward, I would love to see you speak the word of God more, when the circumstances requires it and utilize your evidentiary defense for those who want to argue moral relative semantics. Jesus said ask anything in my name. Jesus said there were some who, when they came to judgement He would have to turn away and say "I never knew you". If this young woman wants more clarifying info, she needs to hear those gospel quotes of Christ. If she asks God, is sincere, repents from sin, God will know her heart and mind as well as her life. If she accepts the perfect gift of Jesus Christ, she won't have to come under the judgement as those who reject Christ do. If she doesn't reject Christ? If she hasn't read? She has time to call upon the name of Christ. Cliffe being the messenger is not saying he has taken good action that she can't. Cliffe is not condemning her. I think cliffe could offer her to read the gospel to better understand. It should be obvious. But maybe she needs someone to pray with her and hand her a bible or a new testament if she doesn't have one. Then she can discover what it says without listening to Cliffe's authoritative voice and vocabulary? It sure seems her own heart has been drawn by God to find the answers.

I have never seen any Bible verse that states that it could somehow be a sin to have sex with someone of the same gender, and I don't think that it actually says that anywhere, but I have to admit that Cliffe articulates his personal opinion on the subject expertly. It's just his personal opinion, though, and Cliffe's opinion is wrong, and in opposition to God's revealed scriptures.

If you believe that although you are a "new" creature in Christ but still a sinner, doesn't line up with scripture. Paul wrote should we continue in sin that grace may abound...God forbids it. Paul also wrote how can we that are dead to sin continue in sin. But that we should walk in the "newness" of life. (A new creature) If you are still sinning then sin is your master. Unbelievers are so quick to dismiss the Bible when it is a reliable collection of HISTORICAL documents, written by eyewitnesses in the lifetime of other eyewitnesses, they report supernatural events which took place in accordance with SPECIFIC prophecy, and they report that they writings are Divine rather than human in origin. The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents, the unbeliever simply dismisses the historicity of the Bible merely because they don't like what it says. Do people dismiss the historicity of anything else in that way? I really cringe when I hear these horrible arguments, it sadly demonstrates a willful ignorance of what the Bible says and the overwhelming evidence surrounding it. Also the woman at the beginning who thinks that she's tried to do her best, God is not impressed with that, and He is not unjust as to overlook her sins. The only provision that God ever gave for forgiveness of sin is Christ, because He's the only one who took care of the problem.
