Halleluyah! This means “Praise YAH.” The name of Jesus has only existed since the 17th century. In a 1611 English version of the Bible, you will see the name of Christ as Iesus, not Jesus. Prior to Iesus, it was Iesous. Why has the name of the Savior been changed? The apostle Peter made it clear, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is ‘no other name’ under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Moses asked for His name, and we have YAH, which is the name which is above every name. The apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Every language is to know the Savior’s revealed name, “YAHSHUA!” The Savior’s revealed name and the Person are equally necessary according to the Gospel: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). www.nazareanministryofyahshua.com

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

@therealgirl3295 That's not what that verse is saying. The correct translation is to esteem others as more _important_ than ourselves. And you also need to look at that passage in its full context. It's about selflessly taking an interest in the lives of fellow brethren Philippians 2:3-5 NET Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself. [4] Each of you should be concerned not only about your own lives, but about the lives of others as well. [5] You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, Have you forgotten that no human is good? Have you not seen yourself in truth? Have you not understood that humans are vile in the site of God, that our hearts are desperately wicked continually? And is that not why we need Jesus? Genesis 6:5-6 ERV The LORD saw that the people on the earth were very evil. He saw that they thought only about evil things all the time. [6] The LORD was sorry that he had made people on the earth. It made him very sad in his heart. Romans 3:10-18 NET just as it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one, [11] there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God. [12] All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one." [13] "Their throats are open graves, they deceive with their tongues, the poison of asps is under their lips." [14] "Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness." [15] "Their feet are swift to shed blood, [16] ruin and misery are in their paths, [17] and the way of peace they have not known." [18] "There is no fear of God before their eyes." The tax collector knew he was evil. He saw himself in truth. The Pharisee thought he was a good person, self righteous Luke 18:9-14 NET Jesus also told this parable to some who were confident that they were righteous and looked down on everyone else. [10] "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. [11] The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people: extortionists, unrighteous people, adulterers-or even like this tax collector. [12] I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.' [13] The tax collector, however, stood far off and would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, be merciful to me, sinner that I am!' [14] I tell you that this man went down to his home justified rather than the Pharisee. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted." If you look at your life in truth, how can you _not_ agree that the things you've done were disgusting and evil, knowing the harm that we haved caused others when living in sin? Matthew 9:12-13 NET When Jesus heard this he said, "Those who are healthy don't need a physician, but those who are sick do. [13] Go and learn what this saying means: 'I want mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

@@stephenmarlowe3907 Jesus called God Father & Abba (daddy). Ancient Jews referred to God as Adonai. I think you’re being too legalistic and acting rigid about names that reference the same person. Jews never attempted to call God by His name and instead had too much reverence so they used a substitute word Lord (Adonai). Even when reading the Tetragrammaton they would say Adonai (Lord) instead. They didn’t try to sound out the Tetragrammaton. So for you and many modern day believers to be so hyper focused on Hebrew pronunciations is weird and wasn’t even how early believers or Jews acted. It’s fine to say Jesus or if you want to get on some trend to call Him by Hebrew or Aramaic name I suppose it’s fine too as long as you don’t sin about it and get legalistic creating a new sect. What’s important is your relationship to Jesus, Son of the Most High God, the One that has eternally existed and is God, as long you ask for salvation through Him and repent then you will be saved.

Anyone would find themselves frustrated at being boxed in intellectually The person asking the question may seem humble, but he is actually being self righteous. He wants evidence for something he has already confirmed for himself. It's like trying to get someone to fact check your tax return. There are people who do that, but typically we don't get the service for free In like same manner, you can't make someone responsible for your faith (or lack thereof). You have to be able to stand ten toes down on your own convictions. Unfortunately, when it comes to human ethics, we tend to make our bed with other people for redundancy It is why humans before the flood were known as "rebellion" Cain built for himself a city and the only thing to come out of there was a multiplication of lawlessness which is a justification for wayward living. I think therefore I am Imagine having a field of wheat and a field of weeds. The weeds say "I'm growing up just fine!" no matter how you slice it, the value of that crop is still poison. You can mill it the same as grain, but even a dog would recognize that the bread made of it is no good. For the desiring of the eyes and the ears is of earthly pleasure (2 Tim 3:4 " ...lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God... "). Keep the eye healthy and you will be filled with light, but keep the eye unhealthy and you will be filled with darkness. If the light brought forth from within you is darkness, then how great that darkness is. So we must bind them to Jesus' Father's and our shared will, and not of theirs. For if the body controls you, you are in its bondage and do not take on the yoke of Christ.

G.K. Chesterton spoke to this sort of thinking in his book "Orthodoxy". He wrote: "A man was meant to be doubtful about himself, but undoubting about the truth; this has been exactly reversed. Nowadays the part of a man that a man does assert is exactly the part he ought not to assert - himself. The part he doubts is exactly the part he ought not to doubt - the Divine Reason. . . ." You hear people do this sort of thing all the time. While discussing the most fundamental questions of life, they will display a false humility by saying, "I am not saying I am right about these things. My opinion maybe the wrong one." In reality, this is just avoidance, not engagement. They muddy the waters by pointing to the fact that we all must answer these deep, eternal questions from the same finite position inherent to humanity. In the process, they will assert their own virtue while at the same time announcing that no one knows for sure what is virtuous.

And I came to rational thinking if everybody or a lot of people believe in God there must be a God. And I was fortunate enough to have a good preacher and I went to church growing up. But when I was a kid I beg God for miracles so I could believe. But no miracles so that's how my Faith began. Later in life I had miracles after miracles happened. Sometimes got divorced miracles the minute you ask for them. And sometimes God says wait. And sometimes God says No. If you pray for a miracle. Ask it to be God's will that this miracle happens. @@DJRickard2010 First of all , simply because I believe in the Gospels and what Jesus was recorded as to what he said and was then written down. Its a progression of faith. Jesus was quoted to have references this in Mathew 11:11 "Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. The greatness of men is measured by a divine not a human standard. The prophet, who was more than a prophet, the herald or the forerunner of the kingdom, was greater in his work, his holiness, his intuition of the truth, than the far-off patriarchs, than David or Solomon, Also in Luke 7:28 it is repeated as being true. I believe if one has faith in Jesus and follows his Truth in Love and Hope, then you can also understand why he said John was the greatest born of a woman. First of all , he delivered the message of our eternal salvation, that is not just winning an Oscar or even finding a cure for cancer, it happens to be someone totally devoted to the one and only truth we have in this world. Then you can see what eventually took place that was his fait to be murdered because of his message of that truth. At the end John shows us that he is human by casting a small amount of doubt when he ask a messenger to go and find Jesus to ask him his question which he felt he needed confirmation just before his death. We can understand the Gospels only when we engage ourselves or participate in actually searching out truth, many who claim to be Christian simply expect this to fall literally off the pages , thus we have many false prosperity preachers who are leaving big parts out of their sermons , usually because of hidden agendas only to gain acceptance from a not so deep crowd of followers. Jesus suffered, in order to give us Hope and as we can clearly see in todays culture , many do not want the suffering part and only want the good stuff. Sounds like an everyday young college student to me, lol. That will soon change as they get older and realize the real world. Truth doesn't change, people do. That is why we are promoting this false agenda today with only half truths, all people of all races fall way short of the Glory of God our creator. Yet all are welcomed at his table. We only need to repent, ask for forgiveness, and Love one another as our Lord has Loved us so. When we reject this , we reject Truth, Love , and our God. Its not rocket science for sure, that is why the innocent children are held up in such esteem. Children are rarely jaded by what is not pure until subjected to temptations which we all eventually struggle with We either get wiser or dumber as we age, but its totally up to the individual. Usually when we take on man made false belief systems that take you away from the Gospels , which we must have faith in, your not getting a certain truth unless you follow Jesus. Remember , this world hates Jesus and what he stands for, you can see that becoming more and more of a reality every day. Free to choose is our gift by the grace of God we have free will to accept him or reject him. Many of the man made world religions of this day have taken away your freedoms and put heavy burdens upon you to follow their man made rules and then claim that is the way to a Heaven. This is false. If you are forced to believe , then it comes from a place of manipulation , and a dark place. Love is kind , Love is free and accepting of Truth. That has nothing to do with being a free liberal spirit who can do anything they want in a moment of desire. This is the warped interpretation of Truth and why Jesus was outraged at what he saw happening in and near the temple and the Holy of Holy's . He as much caused a scene of condemnation to all who participated in such practices. Once again, we must follow by example. Keep it simple, and Love one another, not as equals, but as all who suffer and want to know God and have a real relationship with him. Trust , Hope, Faith, Love . God Bless you.

What I came to see however, is that I really didn’t (and don’t) see evidence to suggest that there is a supernatural realm, a supernatural being, a god, or that that Jesus was a god or was resurrected. All of the other stuff is nice but inconsistent interpretations of bits and pieces of ancient writings, cobbled together by some pretty bad people, interpreted, forged, copied and altered. By the way, the Randi foundation offers $1 million to anyone who can show evidence for the existence of anything supernatural. (ie. the language should not break down). I realise that miscommunication was an issue here; it took a chunk of the whole conversation, but ultimately I have to partly agree with the Christian on the meaning of life, only because the video was cut short. I would've loved to hear more from the younger man. I absolutely love his communication style: he seems so humble, honest, and pleasing to listen to. Kudos to both for standing up and speaking. I am a Christian and I am so thankful for Cliff and his videos but the guy in black exemplified much more humility than Cliff in this video. Cliff had a great opportunity to hear this man out, and answer directly to his questions but he instead danced around the questions like a politician and never actually directly addressed the question raised by the dude in black. Dude in black, if you see this please keep seeking the truth, your discernment to think critically about this is inspiring and unique. As a logical thinker, for me it’s pretty hard to imagine that life could form from nothing. That would be much less possible (and less logical) than the chances of an all powerful being creating it all and us and putting it all in motion. Thank you for your questions that challenged me and made me think, I will continue to seek out the truth and I hope you continue to do so as well. You rock dude!

First off, I just want to say that I agree. Cliff could have been a little more direct, but he instead chose to obfuscate his answer with rhetorical questioning and philosophical worldviews, instead of providing him with an answer that would have been more receptive towards, because I think black shirt was just trying to have a dialogue. Anyways, to you, the following. Always seek the truth. Psalm 111:2 ESV reads, "Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them." Furthermore, Proverbs 14:15 ESV tells us that, "The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps." Always give thought to your steps and don't believe everything presented to you at face-value, lest be a simpleton.

The Christian's attitude was poor. It seemed he just wated to win the argument and often used the tactic of claiming the atheist was being unreasonable (you cut me off at the knees). As you said he was like a politician who spends more time rubbishing his opponent than going though the benefits of his own manifesto. He could have gone though the proof of Jesus's resurrection or something like that - you can't make someone 'see' the evidence but you can present it in a compelling way. A Christian should be humble at all times. This one was not a good advert for Christianity.
