@@Imrightyourewrong1 Even if you find examples of Christians talking about persecution, it is only ironic if you define ‘victim mentality’ in the broadest possible sense, which is neither its common use nor its technical use. Victim mentality is not simply thinking one’s group is oppressed in some way - it involves a psychological tendency to focus primarily on perceived grievances and to centralize this perception as a core aspect of one’s identity, thereby externalizing their psychological locus of control. Researchers of the phenomenon identified four main dimensions of ‘victim mentality’ as: (a) constantly seeking recognition for one’s victimhood, (b) moral elitism, (c) lack of empathy for the pain and suffering of others, and (d) frequently ruminating about past victimization. (www.scientificamerican.com/article/unraveling-the-mindset-of-victimhood/) A few Christians may point out when ‘social justice’ efforts unequally or unjustly disfavor Christians or Christianity, or point out more serious issues around the world (for which they are sometimes punished for ‘hate speech’ - that’s where (c) comes in), but this is a far cry from obsessively seeking sympathy and recognition of one’s moral superiority by obsessing with one’s identity as being grounded in perceived injustices of the past.

The past cannot be eternal. Matter and energy can only exist in time, but if time was eternal that would mean an infinite regress of past finite events or states. Here are the details in case you need more detail to address my actual position. 1. Sustained by the observation that matter/energy doesn't seem to be something that can be created or destroyed. 2. After watching a dozen Cliffe videos I feel an almost envy of his wife even though I don’t know her. You see how much patience he has with these arrogant young ignorant teenagers? Imagine how much patience he must have with his wife. Also he loves Jesus and he knows so much about God and science and philosophy and history! Where do they make men like this?

I also realized Cliffe's son mentioned "apocalyptical literature." I would suggest sharing the TRUE meaning behind the word "apocalypse." Unfortunately even GOOGLE leads people to believe the word means DESTRUCTION and the END OF THE WORLD. The word "apocalypse" literally means "an uncovering." It's the REVELATION OF GREAT KNOWLEDGE.. like, it literally doesn't mean the end of the world. The books is called Revelation for a reason. Hope this helps!

I never even read hosea or much of the Old Testament for that matter… but as I’m starting to get more aquatinted with it I’m realizing how it all connects with the New Testament and ties into redemption and the Messiah that was to come, has came, and will come again… So when Cliffe broke down the symbolism of the book of hosea with the guy and his wife it brought me to tears knowing thats the type of Love God has for his people… even those of us who are born again and saved we often times do so much “cheating” on God but yet he loves us so much to the point that he will never let us go… there is no amount of cheating we could ever do that would make him fall out of love with us… I don’t say that as a license to be unfaithful but it just amazes me the type of love he has for his bride. Praise the Lord

I am tempted to criticize many of the students for all kinds of reasons. I think these Christian apologists are doing an excellent job and are sincere. The arguments that these Christian men make are compelling and rational. I am biased because I have been convinced by these arguments and from the story and love of Christ. I understand that many people are cynical about Christianity and I can empathize with that to a point but cynicism isn’t rational or a justification for not believing something. The reference to the book of Hosea and the story of Hosea and Gomer is a powerful one.

I love Cliffes and his sons work a lot but I respectfully disagree with their evolution views. The Bible is clear that man brought death in the world very different from death bringing man into the world i.e evolution. Matthew 19:4 is very clear that male and female was created from the beginning.

When did Cliffe say, “an invisible man in the sky” did it? God is not a man nor does he “live in the sky”. Numbers 23 - “God is not a man” Jeremiah 23 - Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. God is an eternal being who is everywhere.
