Program 2421 ................... - Experiences and Teachings? - Mythology and Truth - The Cross
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

I feel embarrassed that I was an atheist for 26 years of my life, taking that long to realise how absolutely obvious God's existence is. Now for the passed 8 years I've been building such a wonderful relationship with God through Jesus Christ who is my Lord, my saviour and my God. Everything has so much more meaning in my life now and he's changed my heart dramatically. The peace and joy I get from Jesus through the Holy Spirit is so beautiful, not the kind of peace of joy I've ever experienced from anything worldly. May Jesus bless you and your loved ones to whoever maybe reading this.

13:25 Bart Ehrman made this idea popular. The first question to consider is: on what basis does writing about someone else make the account false? Secondly, a quick study of the early church, the priests, and the bishops reveals connections such as the Apostle John being a direct mentor to Ignatius. Ignatius being a mentor of Polycarp and so on. Ignatius, in his writings, asserts that the apostles wrote the Gospels. How would he know? He was a direct disciple of John the Apostle. Polycarp, another early church figure, also affirms in his writings that the Gospels were authored by the apostles. This is well-documented throughout the historical tradition of Christianity. Don't make assumptions like this guy without studying the evidence for yourself first. I made the same mistake and ended up looking foolish later on.

The duality of Jesus Christ is one of those things that, when you understand it, will blow your mind. He is both God and man fully, and he experienced both at the same time as he shifted between the two, and to me it's really cool to see it. It's something I'm starting to look for when I read the bible now. When he was on the ship asleep, he was man. When he calmed the storm, he was God. When he wept for Lazarus, he was man. When he raised him from the dead, he was God. When he was hungry, he was man. When he multiplied the fish and bread to feed thousands, he was God. The gospels are replete with examples of Jesus Christ shifting between his dual nature. In the garden, when he prayed that the cup pass from him afraid of the fate that he knew was coming, he was man. When he healed the cut of ear of one of the men came to take him captive, he was God. On the cross, when he charged one of the disciples to take care of him mom, he was man. When he rose from the dead, he was God. When one truly understands Jesus's duality, it really is something.

I was 2 years old when that was done. 2 million people dead. The Chinese National Government? Again, Stalin... that was in our lifestime. As was Mao if you're 45 or older. @@darkeen42 Lenin was an atheist, as was Stalin. Making deals with organizations doesn't mean anything in a communist regime because everything, all organizations, all businesses, all media, all religion.. everything, is turned into a propaganda machine for the regime. And those who don't comply become enemies of the state. And it's exactly the point. See, you're trying to blame Christianity for all of the violence and injustice in the world - or at least those you think they're responsible for... What I'm pointing out is that you also have to apply your own standard equally to yourself and your own argument. If people using Christianity to commit evil things makes Christianity bad, then what does people using atheism to commit evil make atheism? You can't have it one way. That's hypocritical in the extreme. My point is that people are bad, some, more than others certainly, but given the opportunity we will use anything to our own advantage. Religion, politics, economics... anything. You're trying to blame a religion for a people issue.

Great video. One point I like to make to people who reference Jesus’ statement on the cross when he says “My God, why have you forsaken me?” He’s quoting the first line of Psalm 22 which is how Jews at the time referenced passages of scripture. They weren’t numbered the way they are now, so the first line acted as a title. This psalm is all about the death and crucifixion of the Messiah. To any scholarly Jew who would have heard this statement, it would be like a thunderbolt to their soul. Jesus isn’t confused or abandoned. This is him saying, “I am the Messiah!!! And this is what I came to do. And the glory of the Lord is going to spread across the entire world!” Go read it. The parallels are incredible.

Point of clarification: When Jesus said “My God, why have you forsaken me?”, he is quoting Psalm 22 identifying himself as the suffering servant. Scripture never indicates the God turned away from the Son as He died on the cross. Directly after quoting this Psalm He says, “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.” He couldn’t commit His spirit to a God that had forsaken Him. Furthermore, we don’t have saving faith by believing the “best evidence”. Scripture is clear. 1 Pet. 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to *His great mercy* has caused us to be born again”. Acts 16:14, speaking of Lydia: “and *the Lord opened her heart* to respond to the things spoken by Paul.” It is God alone who moves on men’s hearts to draw us to faith. Not mere evidence alone.

A better example is. If you were a really good Principal of a run down bad school, and you were about to give up on being Principal there because of how bad it is. But your child goes to the school, and your child says Dad or Mom please don't give up on this school, I know it is bad but my friends are there and I love them all. Even the teachers are cool! Dad, please they need you, you're the only reason why there is any decency in the school. Please stay. And you stay. That is how the Father and the Son are. Father and Son say "I want to pour out my wrath on all, but I want to pour out my Spirit on them." They all deserve to die but I don't want all of them to die. The Son says "I'll go down," the Father says "go down" and then he spares us by taking the wrath on himself so that all who go to him remove the wrath will have the Spirit poured into them.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4; Wow, another scripture refuting the Trinitarian view of Christ “who is the image of God” those who saw Christ saw Him as a man, saw Him resurrected as a man, image is a word relating completely to physical characteristics, and that is the image of God. Along with a careful analysis of John 17: 20-24 the oneness of others can be added to God and that does not make them the same being. Christ is the image of God completely, to cast aspersions on that is to not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

That's what happens when you treat that Book that way. That is exactly what I mentioned a few weeks ago in one of my comment. When you stand for that Book, you are not defending it; it defends you (quotation mine). It is a supernatural Book. It is the word of God. At times you try to compromise so much as to diminish its authority and ...slam, that Muslim turned around and made his book the authority! You don't need to compromise to show modesty or intellect. You can boldly proclaim that it is Scriptures i.e. perfect. Nothing is perfect in this world but that Book. If you want to persuade people, you must persuade yourself first. How do you expect others to change if you can't do it yourself? But the time that Muslim finished his enquiry, there was no going back. Did you notice that? You crossed your arms, became defensive and realized that it was over. Do you know why I believe that the Bible is the perfect, infallible and preserved word of God? For many reasons but another one to add to the list is this: you being extremely clever, yet when it comes to the Bible, you become cognitive dissonant. You first say that the Bible is an accurate historical accounts but neither perfect nor preserved. How can you then turn around and say that you believe Christ was who he claimed to be based on that same book. Being historical accurate and claiming that everything that is written in there is accurate are two different things. The Muslim argued for 15 minutes that the Bible is not the word of God, that it is incorrect and then he goes on to show that it talks about his own prophet. I'd say no comment about that; they are quite touchy when you point that out. So here's my take. If you think that I'm just criticizing here think again. I sang your praises many times. What I'm referring to here is that as brethren in Christ we can share ideas, share insights and advanced revelations from our studies. At some point in this video you asked rhetorically, "Who can prove that the Bible is the word of God?" Impossible, you say. Well, not necessarily; I did it in my own book. Don't believe me? In regard to the greatest book ever written, if anyone reading this comment would like to step it up to all another level in defending the Bible, here comes the link, www.amazon.com/dp/0648045366?ref

Hey Cliff/Stuart, I have a question about Bible Prophecys that I really want you to answer for me. So their was this video on Matt's channel about two years ago and they were talking about Bible Prophecys. So, they came up with a few conclusions about the prophecys. Their first point was this, 1: People are actively working to make some of the prophecys, like for example the Isreal Temple that got rebuilt after 2000 years, many workers were working to make that possible, and Matt kinda said a prophecy cant have any intention or be altered and messed around with. 2: He was talking about how the prophecys could have been inventible and prone to happen anyways. 3: Some of the prophecys were really cleary, but on the other hand some really aren't. Also he mentioned how people could pick and choose the word prophecy and fit it in their own definition and call basically every thing a biblical prophecy. This is one of the biggest doubt I have had ever, Bible prophecys, because what if it is all planned to look real? But one side off me is very skeptical off Matt's point, because it seems very unlikely that everyone working on some of the Bible prophecys has the intention to fake it, some might not even know about God or anything, but some might have that intention. Also I have came to this conclusion, out of all the signs that have happened in order, that would be extremely hard to fake all of the signs, especially now their happening so fast, that they would be prone to mess up at moments, also regarding that some to maybe even a lot of the signs are even happening in nature, like time going by faster, the moon rusting, and way, way more. I do not aggre with Matt at all, I believe Jesus and that he is coming back very soon to rapture his church. But I just have some doubts about this, especially when I listen to Matt, can you maybe clearly this topic up for me? Plz, it would be greatly appreciated.

The prophecy of the 3rd temple is that the antichrist will sit in it and declare himself God. Jesus prophesied that the 2nd temple would be destroyed and it was. But here's the thing, you're right, a 3rd temple was prophesied and they have been trying to rebuild it for 2000 years. They haven't been able to until very recently because it requires the blood of a red cow of no more than 3 years of age (I believe, I could be wrong about the age). The ones they have now are the first they've had for that entire period of time. No matter how much they intended to rebuild, they can't control when a sacrifice worthy of the temple would be born. But yes, all biblical prophesies will eventually come true because they are guided by the hand of an all knowing, all powerful God. Not the limited scope of man.

The NT GOSPELS & Their Author's Names & Dates ▪︎Jesus Christ's' ministry was from A.D. 27-30. ▪︎Christianity began after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. Christ when thousands of Jews became followers of 'The Way' (Jesus). ▪︎New Testament scholar, F.F. Bruce, gives strong evidence that the New Testament was completed by A.D. 100. And most writings of the New Testament were completed twenty to forty years before this. ▪︎The Gospels are dated traditionally as follows: - MARK is believed to be the first gospel written around A.D. 60. - MATTHEW and LUKE follow and are written between A.D. 60-70; - JOHN is the final gospel, written between A.D. 90-100. The Internal Evidence: ▪︎The internal evidence supports these early dates for several reasons. The first three Gospels prophesied the fall of the Jerusalem Temple which occurred in A.D. 70. However, the fulfillment is not mentioned. It is strange that these three Gospels predict this major event but do not record it happening. Why do they not mention such an important prophetic milestone? The most plausible explanation is that it had not yet occurred at the time Matthew, Mark, and Luke were written. ▪︎In the book of Acts, the Temple plays a central role in the nation of Israel. Luke writes as if the Temple is an important part of Jewish life. He also ends Acts on a strange note: Paul living under house arrest. It is strange that Luke does not record the death of his two chief characters, Peter and Paul. The most plausible reason for this is that Luke finished writing Acts before Peter and Paul's martyrdom in A.D. 64. A significant point to highlight is that the Gospel of Luke precedes Acts, further supporting the traditional dating of A.D. 60. Furthermore, most scholars agree Mark precedes Luke, making Mark's Gospel even earlier. ▪︎Finally, the majority of New Testament scholars believe that Paul's epistles are written from A.D. 48-60. Paul's outline of the life of Jesus matches that of the Gospels. 1 Corinthians is one of the least disputed books regarding its dating and Pauline authorship. In chapter 15, Paul summarizes the gospel and reinforces the premise that this is the same gospel preached by the apostles. Even more compelling is that Paul quotes from Luke's Gospel in 1 Timothy 5:18, showing us that Luke's Gospel was indeed completed in Paul's lifetime. This would move up the time of the completion of Luke's Gospel along with Mark and Matthew. This Internal Evidence presents a strong case for the early dating of the Gospels. EXTERNAL Evidence - DATE of Gospels: ▪︎Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses of the events, or were they not recorded until centuries later? As with the internal evidence, the external evidence also supports a first century date. ▪︎Fortunately, New Testament scholars have an enormous amount of ancient manuscript evidence. The documentary evidence for the New Testament far surpasses any other work of its time. We have over 5000 manuscripts, and many are dated within a few years of their authors' lives. Here are some key documents. ▪︎An important manuscript is the Chester Beatty Papyri. It contains most of the N.T. writings, and is dated around A.D. 250. ▪︎The Bodmer Papyri contains most of John, and dates to A.D. 200. Another is the Rylands Papyri that was found in Egypt that contains large fragments of John, and dates to A.D. 130. From this fragment we can conclude that John was completed well before A.D. 130 because, not only did the gospel have to be written, it had to be hand copied and make its way down from Greece to Egypt. Since the vast majority of scholars agree that John is the last gospel written, we can affirm its first century date along with the other three with greater assurance. ▪︎A final piece of evidence comes from the Dead Sea Scrolls Cave 7. Jose Callahan discovered a large fragment of the Gospel of Mark and dated it to have been written in A.D. 50. He also discovered large fragments of Acts and other epistles and dated them to have been written slightly after A.D. 50.4 Another line of evidence is the writings of the church fathers. ▪︎CLEMENT of Rome sent a letter to the Corinthian church in A.D. 95. in which he quoted from the Gospels and other portions of the N.T. ▪︎IGNATIUS, Bishop of Antioch, wrote a letter before his martyrdom in Rome in A.D. 115, quoting all the Gospels and other N.T. letters. ▪︎POLYCARP wrote to the Philippians in A.D. 120 and quoted from the Gospels and N.T. letters. ▪︎JUSTIN MARTYR (A.D. 150) quotes John 3. Church fathers of the early second century were familiar with the apostle's writings and quoted them as inspired Scripture. ▪︎Early dating is important for two reasons. The closer a historical record is to the date of the event, the more likely the record is accurate. Early dating allows for eyewitnesses to still be alive when the Gospels were circulating to attest to their accuracy. The apostles often appeal to the witness of the hostile crowd, pointing to their knowledge of the facts as well (Acts 2:22, 26:26). Also, the time is too short for legends to develop. Historians agree it takes about two generations, or eighty years, for legendary accounts to establish themselves. From the evidence, we can conclude the Gospels were indeed written by the authors they are attributed to. Early New Testament Papyrus Manuscripts/ Large Fragments ▪︎Dead Sea Scrolls, the Full Text of Isaiah 53, c 250 BC. ▪︎Old Testament Greek Septuagint 200 BC. ▪︎P52 (John Rylands Fragment) - John 18:31-33; 37-38 c. 96 AD ▪︎P90 (Oxyrhynchus) - John 18:36; 19:7 c. 96 AD ▪︎ P104 (Oxyrhynchus) - Matthew 21:34-37, 43, 45 c. 60-65 AD ▪︎P46 (Chester Beatty Papyrus) - Romans 5:17-6; 5-14; 8:15-25; 27-35; 10:1-11, 22, 24-33, 35; 16:1-23; 25-27. It read: 'JESUS Of NAZARETH, THE KING Of THE JEWS'. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek" (John 19:19-20) ▪︎The Gospels were written in Koine Greek being the World's language in the 1st century The Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek (Septuagint) c.200 BC for the many Greek speaking Jews It is well known that first-century Jerusalem was inhabited by Greek speaking Jews who were at least bilingual. And Jesus most likely was trilingual apart from the ability to read minds. So the original Gospels were written in Koine Greek and sent throughout the World.. ▪︎Jewish culture was heavily influenced by Hellenistic culture, and Koine Greek was used not only for international communication but also as the first language of many Jews. This development was furthered by the fact that the largest Jewish community in the world lived in Ptolemaic Alexandria. (Wikipedia) FINALLY: ▪︎"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!" (Galatians 1:8-9) ▪︎Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Matt 24:35) ▪︎God protects His Word the Gospels and warns of antichrists.. ▪︎The Gospels are evidenced by internal and external historical, archeological & literary facts ▪︎The Gospels are unchanged and preserved over 2000 years and across all continents ▪︎The Gospels are reliable and transparent with any variations referenced in footnotes ▪︎The Gospels are the same today, as they were in 7th century, as they were in 1st Century ▪︎The Gospels have 1000 times more manuscripts than the most documented ancient literature by Greco-Roman historian, Suetonius. ▪︎The Bible translations do have errors, Christians don't claim otherwise. But Less than 1% of manuscript errors are meaningful and don’t affect the major teachings of the Christian faith.

Jesus is the word of God. The word became flesh and walked among us. The word lived life of a man, but sinless. The word was the sacrificial blood attonement. Since Jesus went through with His purpose, and is risen from the dead He carried out God's will and could ascend to the father. Jesus prayed to the Father throughout His life and ministry because He was in the flesh. He is a portion of God and became a person, He returned to the Father. Once this was true, God sent another portion of Himself by pouring out His Spirit upon the apostles and believers. (God says, I give you my word and He proved it) it's called one of the glorious mysteries because we claim to understand but cannot fully comprehend this mystery. God is where we cannot go in the flesh. We study throughout our lives saying we know the nature of God, but it's something we believe and ask to know. Because we sinned and we're not cleared of our nature, the requirement of God was that blood attonement of the person of Jesus Christ. The Blood had to be shed as God had such a covenant with the Israelites for them to understand. People have spent their whole lives studying and researching this and can put the precepts together to be taught. This is why they make a religion, but being human, they don't fully understand this truth. They invent practices to go along with it. Or they invent doctrine to go with it. They are trying to tell it or show it but go off on ideas of their own. Its important to preserve the word without change, but language and custom further can confuse. Revisions of the word have taken from the word. The best theologians have even had to get back to the manuscripts to restore the word to their understanding. The best published word is considered by scholars and the manuscripts are still being worked on to remove human error. The ways to prove the word of God are a few. We can look at prophecies that have become reality of which there are over 300 now. We can read the word and do what it says. We can pray and have God's Spirit affect us to do His will. We can document the works the Spirit does and test the spirits to find if they are from God. We can believe in order to see. The change in a person who believes can be witnessed. The nine gifts of the Spirit can manifest themselves in a believer.

Indeed, one cannot _prove_ that the Bible is _The Word Of God._ Even the Bible itself says as much... _"For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."_ *1 Corinthians 1:18* However, for the _true believer_ in Christ who has been _born again_ and thus has the Holy Spirit of God within, it is apparent that the Bible is God's word...and the Bible makes this claim about itself all throughout scripture...none more blatant perhaps than *2 Timothy 3:16-17* which says... _"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."_ The scriptures are the spiritual bread for the believer in Christ, _not_ for the unbeliever. Therefore, it makes _no logical sense_ to try and _prove_ that it is God's word to someone who has already chosen to believe that there is no God!

*I sure wish Cliffe had said the bible IS the Word of God! He spent too much time saying he "couldn't prove it." He could've backed that it IS the Word written by God through men given the Holy Spirit by HIM! Cliffe could've have talked about how many PROPHECIES were foretold by God CENTURIES before they happened! Cliffe could've talked about how ARCHAEOLOGICAL DISCOVERIES have backed up the Bible with so many reveals! Cliffe could've talked about how many PROPHECIES have been fullfilled! Cliffe could've talked about historical writings that are widely accepted by philosophers that are used in Universities such as Socrates, Plato, and other authors such as Josephus, Cliffe could've said "the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln happened" but I can't prove it...but if it HAD been a lie circulating back then...this lie/rumor would have most certainly died in the circulating writings and all the peoples. (Afterall, none of us in the 21st century were there, right? So how do we know if Lincoln did get assassinated? Did it happen? How do we know for sure??? HISTORY BOOKS, articles, writings!!!! People who witnessed this assassination and concurred with the reported writings of this event in U.S. History! And people continued sharing this event telling generation after generation that Lincoln was assassinated. Well one powerful event along with many miracles happened over 2,000 years ago! Heck, we even base our calendars on this event because it was so powerful an event! The Resurrection!

Jesus said when people don't want to listen to, or refuse "the good news," to 'dust your feet off and keep moving.' It is very clear. It would be different if he was arrested and had to defend Gods Word in court. But as a messenger of the good news in the public, these type of "preachers" are "in opposition" to God. Arguing with opposers is Not the Scriptural way to teach and preach, therefore both of these sides are against God and his "only begotten son" Jesus Christ. Gods true people must always keep preaching, but it must be done according to Scripture, not according ones own perspective: Gods perspective, the Bibles, is the only perspective. And of course, these "preachers" have it all wrong when it comes to a True Christian's core values and beliefs, as in they believe Jesus is God and will twist and bend Gods Holy Word to suit and benefit their Own way of thinking. Out of the Massive, and I mean MASSIVE amount of Scriptures stating, making it clear without question, that Jesus and God can not be the same being, they manage to point out one or two where perspective MAY be twisted to suit their own beliefs. Revelation is one, where it says "I am...the alpha and the omega..." The other one, or two, can be Easily reasoned with as Not being as these "preachers" say. Since Gods word can not be contradicted, these couple of Scriptures must give way to the massive in number of the other Scriptures. But no, they rather stick with their false traditions than to actually search out in their hearts the actual truth. They also have idols in their homes, many do it only in the holidays, but even so, it is idol worshiping. They also pray to saints, which we are Never instructed to do. They also Don't abstain from blood: doing some basic research on the matter you will find first century AD Christians, and even into the second, refused blood and some went as far as not even touching it. They also bend Scripture with ONE Scripture, refusing the other many Scriptures that "hell," an everlasting place of torture, is not possible for God to have created. They also falsely teach a heavenly life for all believers when Gods word clearly says "the Earth will remain for ever" for true believers to "reside" on for ever. And they also have removed Gods name from their Bibles, when it's very clear Jesus and the disciples quoted from the Hebrew Scriptures that have been found to have Gods name in them. And, Jesus said "I have made your name known to them." These are CORE matters for True Christians, things that ninety nine percent (99%) of all Abrahamic religions overall refuse to acknowledge. Ninety nine because there is One true religion adhering to the true Christian way, as found in Matthew through Revelation. How and why only one religion? Because the word of God must and WILL be completely fulfilled. It is YOUR time to change your ways. To humble yourselves and pray to God, Not Jesus, with all sincerity, all humility, all your heart, and beg him to help you find him before "The Great Tribulation" starts, in Jesus' name. If it's done with all love and honesty, with the willingness to actually want to change, I guarantee that Gods people will find you. Amen.

I would like to advise any readers of mine, if indeed there are any, that the Confucius quotes I have posted from time to time, are complete fabrications. I just invented them. And also the same applies to Hans Gitmans, , the Dutch theologian. He too is purely a figment of my imagination. Why have I done this you might ask? The answer is this. Because I have gotten so fed up talking to atheists with their never ending bombardment of irritating inane questions, I have invented these two characters as a way to stop the irksome questions. However, if in future I quote Confucius or Gitmans again, I will sign off as follows. Paul Confucius Hunt. Or Hans Hunt Gitmans Which is a pity because I was enjoying the charade.

The Bible is not the word of God in the sense of how the Muslim thinks the Coran is the word of God. Thw Muslim believers hold on to the following: "The Quran is the last testament in a series of divine revelations from God (Allah in Arabic). It consists of the unaltered and direct words of God, which were revealed through the Angel Gabriel to Muhammadp, the final prophet of Islam, more than 1400 years ago." In other words, the Bible is not dictated by God as others claim the Quran is. The Bible is inspired by Goď. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." Do I accept the bible as the inspired word of God? Yes, without a doubt. The fulfilled prophecies made me a believer in the first place and secondly Jesus living inside of me and transforming me.

The theory that Christ never actually died and resurrected is funny to me. Yeah Jesus was flogged with a 3 tip whip 50 times, punched and beaten, made to carry a huge cross all the way to the top of the mountain, was then nailed to it… hanging on by nails alone, then speared in the heart… for him to just be taken off the cross, and healed perfectly outside of holes in his hands and feet inside of 3 days. Lol right.

How amazing would it have been to have a Gospel of Jesus, written in his own hand, that went into clear and incontrovertible details about issues which mankind has argued over for thousands of years. He could have told us exactly his thoughts on things like torture, rape, abortion, slavery, homosexuality that would leave none of us in any doubt whatsoever.

Why are you claiming that it would make such a huge difference if it was in his own handwriting (as if that could ever be proven)? You don't. You're just trolling-which is all you are capable of. Just pat-trolling, hoping someone will talk to you. Anything to occupy your time and prevent you from having to deal with your loneliness. You need some outlet-some means of ventilating your hatred for God. Gee, maybe you should focus on your own faith-your own worldview-and making some effort to "prove" that? Or maybe you don't because it cannot be done! Material in the universe has absolutely nothing to say about any of the things you listed-and yet you have beliefs about them that can't be justified by your own worldview! You have no defense for your naturalistic faith! Bonnie, I want to suggest that you, for the first time, consider the FACT that the Bible (and thus Jesus himself) do address ALL of the things you mentioned! All you need to do now is admit the truth to yourself! You don't like what the Bible says-and so you HATE it-for no good reason. You troll this channel so zealously-committing over a decade of your life to doing so-why? Christians are the least of the worlds problems (Christianity is actually the cure for what ails the world), yet you like to harass them incessantly. WHY? Clearly, you've got a bur under your saddle, don't ya? (Acts 9:5, 7:54, John 3:19-20) Maybe you should stop fighting and start being intellectually honest for a change-and actually listen for the very first time instead of only seeking a point of contention? As if stands, Jesus gives us very good advice when it comes to those who are like yourself... even going so far as to say that it will be worse for you in the end, then it was for those whom God judged for the sin of homosexuality. (Mark 6:11)

@@jessebryant9233 Hi Jesse. Do you not think a supernatural being that created the entire universe would *not* be capable of ensuring that people on planet Earth knew instinctively that it was Jesus himself who wrote a Gospel of breathtaking wisdom. It would be written in such a way that none of us could doubt it's originator. .. it would surpass anything that has ever been written by man. Think of it being a little like that feeling when you're deeply in love with another person and the incredible feeling that consumes you. It almost feels as though your heart is going to burst. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. Love transcends all boundaries and beliefs. A book written by the hand of God himself would be unlike anything any human being could write IMHO. You're wrong to say I hate the Bible and I hate God.. I don't believe this God you believe in actually exists, but regarding the Bible itself, as I've said on lots of occasions, it contains many excellent passages and nuggets of sound advice.. "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a superb adage which we should all adhere to. eg, personally, i don't like having unnecessary pain inflicted upon me, so it wouldn't be good for me to inflict that pain upon someone else.. knowing how it feels. The "do unto others" phrase isn't perfect, there are a few exceptions to the rule, but overall, its a pretty good yardstick to live your life by. So what did Jesus himself say specifically about homosexuality Jesse?
