Matt, I just got my Ozark Rigs in from TW (3/28/24) right before I was ready to go fishing on a 80 acre lake (NE KS). The water had 4’ vis. & 52.8 deg water. I rigged the 1/8 oz. 4/0 hook with a BPS 6” Stick-O (GP with blue flake) with 16lb. sniper line. Keepers (LM) in order caught: 4, 3.5,7, 4, 5. I went back a few days later, water dropped to 48.8 (cold front) but I caught a 5 & 3.5 lb. This is very good for this lake. I am really impressed with the Ozark Rig. It worked best when I held the rod tip at 10, with a slack to semi-slack line (bow in the line). The fish were 6’ to 16’ deep. I only felt one bite, but the line would tighten up, set the hook. I would highly recommend you try the Ozark Rig for bass fishing. Keep up the good work with the videos MB.

Thank you for this video! I had commented on one of your previous vids that I was having issues rigging it when it's tied on. The side rigging tip makes total sense for the worms. It's so awesome that you actually respond to your viewers, & actually try to help us be better anglers. I can't wait for the 2/0 size for some of my smaller JDM baits! Good luck & thanks again. My only regret so far with the Ozark purchase is NOT having bought more. Friends asking for them and me not having any I want to part with. I so far have been going through more baits than other rigs as the fish REALLY are beastly when hooked with this and shake like mad. Just like I saw on the rematch with Hank

Of all the rigs you guys have come up with- this one is my favorite, and it gets the least attention for some reason. That said- I really wish my local tackle shop would start carrying Core Tackle stuff because when you buy online you have to buy several packs- if you buy just one pack- you spend between 4-5 bucks per rig once shipping is included. That means I have to wait until I need several things from TW- it would be so much better if I could just run by the shop and pick up a new pack. I'm going to ask them, but it will probably take a few ppl asking before they do anything. I need to turn my friends on to your rigs.

Try elastec worm rigged in center of the worm. It gives you a weedless wacky u can throw and skip on a bait caster.
@MattStefanFishing5 ай бұрын
Interesting
@kevinaltice29115 ай бұрын
The elastec floats so the lighter Ozark gives it a good slow fall. It also has an added benefit, you can bury the hook point right in the middle of the worm. It does not affect hook ups at all.

GOD-D@%NIT, Stefan! My Ozark rigs (and wacky shots) just showed up minutes ago, and one of my 3pks of the 3/16oz Ozark Rigs, was short one rig. I want answers, d@mnit! These are the kinds of conspiracies that are ruining America, and undermine our relationship, Matt. I suppose I can be the bigger man, and let it slide this time, because as you can see, throwing an immature tantrum over one hook, is beneath me. But, I don't mind telling you that, I feel very uncomfortable with our relationship, right now. I was able to get past your use of FFS, but Ozark Rig conspiracies......I just don't know what to say to that, Matt. I'm beyond disappointed. I mean....OK....if you want to send me an autographed Bridgford hat, and one of those Picasso 3/8oz spinner baits you like to throw, I suppose that would help me get past the emotional trauma I'm experiencing. But, short of that, I'm out of words....and just to verklempt to type, at this point. Just sayin'...
