I remember buying this record amongst many others I bought in 1976. 1976 was a good year for songs.

Tina had a number of disco related hits in the mid to late '70s and was the voice behind 1974's "I'm On Fire" by 5,000 VOLTS. Also swedish Schlager singer Stefan Rüden had a song called "Tina" in 1978 in which he sings "I'd love to love you Tina" referring to this song.🙏

i grew up in the seventies (born in1959 btw-) it was a fantastic time for me ... her first single she did was "" You set my heart on fire "" 1975... It failed hitting the charts in in the U.K but did very well in holland Nr5 in the autumn 1975 , nr 2 in Belgium ,nr 7 in South Africa... but it was her 2nd single that hit hit the charts all over the world( UK nr 1 for 3 weeks in march 1976) ....Europe , South America, french Canada, Asia , Australia and new Zealand.. further hits followed ""love me like a lover"" 1976 ""dance little lady dance "" 1976..."" Dr love "" 1976 , ""rendezvous 1977..""love bug /sweets for my sweet ""1977.. before starting her solo career she performed with the British group 5000 volts she hit the charts"worldwide with ""I am on Fire"" the song reached nr 26 on the US BILBOARD HOT 100 She was never able achieve solo succes in the US. Her only solo recording to chart in US was "" you set my heart on fire "" which reached nr 3 on the RECORD WORLD magazine's Disco File top 20 chart in autumn 1975.

Hi David 😉, as I love this song, I'm glad you're reacting to this amazing singer.💙☺️💯👏 She was also a disco queen along with Donna Summer. She was part of my youth.I would like to see Tommy sing this song. How would it sound with his arrangements.😁🤘😎

She was very big in Britain; we called her our 'Little Miss Dynamite'! This shot to Number One in our hottest Summer of all time - 1976.

Hello David...yes..her outfit has echoes of the original Starsky & Hutch.. Tina is English...she is now 70 yrs. old and still performs her pop/ disco hits all around Europe. I knew the song but l never knew what Tina looked like..enjoyed hearing it again.. Yes, the set was a little mish mosh..Very artistic appraisal on your part David..😂😂😂 Is the spider ok?😂😂😂 Ciao bello..❤❤ .

This song was very popular at school discos. I sang along with pleasure when I listened to it. But, like you, I have no idea what those decorations on the stage mean! I never paid attention to it. Well, I think there is someone's foot about to kick a ball, but I'm not sure. Thanks for this song, it's nice to remember the carefree days. Thanks for the review. Good luck.

The partners of all dancers can probably tell you a thing or two about the truth in the lyrics - at least sometimes. 🤷🏼♀️😉 Thanks for this evergreen. 🎶

When I was a little kid I was obsessed with this song and this woman, but the funny thing was that almost everybody else felt the same. A real hit that lasted for many years.

Hi Toe, it's from the 70's disco. I like her voice but not this song and lyrics. It just repeat itself. But I just was listening to Queen and those in that genre from the 70's. 1976 I was 16 years old and my 1 year older sister did play this song ALL THE TIME. I think thats why I have mental problems.... 🤣 Have a great week David 🎉❤

Och den här dansade man till på disco när jag var ung. Eller Donna Summer. Och man 'bumpade' höft mot höft på dansgolvet. Tina och Donna var gigantiska på discona.

ABBAMAN.. I remember her name but really never heard any of her music I'm old enough to have lived through the 70s disco era. I don't think she was around that long. I don't believe she had a lot of hits I'm like Donna Summer. This song wasn't bad but I don't know whether I would have gone out and bought it

Not up to industry standards of the time. I often notice that about music produced outside of the US. Not my cup of tea but I always respect how an oldie makes us feel
