Her family depend on her to bring in money that is why her mother pulled her out of school, her mother knows that even if she stayed in school for a few more years she would still be doing the same thing afterwards to help the family make money so they can eat....you just confirm westerners really have no clue what it is like for the citizens who live in these countries.

it looks like she has tinea versicolor, a fungi that eat skin pigmentation. they thrive in humid environment, on the body, they show up in areas where people sweat. give her a bottle of selsun blue for dandruff or anything containing selenium. have her scrub it into the infected areas for a couple of weeks. most importantly, tell her not to share towels and clothing to prevent its spreading to others.

Skin discoloration from fungus... i had that during my teen years, got rid of it with foot anti fungal cream in just less than a week. They do spread but the good news is it's easily treatable
